WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
OllieSuave-007 This is one of the TV-series I had to drag myself to follow, but luckily didn't have to for too long as it was canceled during Season One. The mediocre acting coupled with uninspired special effects and boring stories make this series a very depressing and unexciting film. This series also lack suspense and action, and void of any character development. I have never seen the original Bionic Woman series before, but certainly hope it is more entertaining then this yawn-ville. I would find other "superhero" series to watch. I do not know if reruns of this show exist. However, if they do, I would advise you to look this one over and spend your time watching something else with more substance, excitement and quality. Grade F
davjgg Horrible. Terrible. This remake misses all the charms. The writer, director, and producer of this remake didn't include any story depth, character depth, and even the shot depths this remake needs. What happened? Where was the relationship with the original bionic woman series? The scenes were so dark and dreary. The shots were different and hard to watch. The story moves by so fast it had little time to tell more about the character and wanted to take her into action right now. Why not tell more about how she feels and might do? Why not show more new bionic miracles? How about what the original bionic woman might do? And how does the bionic woman survive an attack with only half her body being bionic? Lots of questions that need to be answered. Didn't any of these questions and more ever come up before making this remake? My teacher always said, you get to make only one mistake and that's all you get. Didn't anyone watch the original bionic woman series? Did anyone think it out through and through?
danny_holloway I don't know what everyone else has been watching because i'm only half way through the series and i'm gripped. It may not be fast paced action packed and full of superstars but it has other qualities. Michelle Ryan is a surprisingly good actress and a very sexy one at that. I must admit it's a little dark and "gothik like" but the story lines of each episode are good enough to keep you intrigued. This along with some fantastic fight scenes makes for great entertainment. All in all, i've found "The Bionic woman" highly enjoyable. Just don't make the mistake of comparing it to the original. It's a totally different ride all together.
julycottage Michelle Ryan is gorgeous and adds to Jamie's character the "human touch", still learning and making mistakes. The low key technology stuff just adds to the main objective of the show being a thriller first rather than an all-singing, all dancing extravaganza of computer generated effects.I have just seen a few episodes, but already I can sense the evolution of the characters. It is a shame if the series is cancelled after the first episode, because it has great potential.Michelle has come a long way from "Eastie". Brits playing iconic figures like Jamie Summers, and Sarah Connor, we (the Brits) should commend their achievements.
