Butt-Ugly Martians is a computer-animated television series, which aired on the Nickelodeon cable channel between 2001 and 2002. There was also a video game based on the series named Butt Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom. The Butt-Ugly Martians are forced to invade planets for the evil Emperor Bog. When they are sent to Earth they discover comic books, hamburgers, video games and music videos and become addicted to American culture, deciding not to hurt the earth and simply pretend to be occupying the planet for Bog. They are shown around by their new Earthling friends: Mike, Cedric, and Angela. The Butt-Ugly Martians will continue to hang out on Earth as long as Emperor Bog never finds out.

Butt-Ugly Martians Audience Reviews

Diagonaldi Very well executed
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
gogogadgetgir73 When I saw the commercials, I thought the show would have been a waste of money, but I loved it! The show takes place on Earth at a point where aliens are likely to take over Earth and three martians are sent to conquer Earth, but they decided to take the "eat, drink and be merry" theory to the extremes while sending phony reports to their emperor and at all costs avoid dotcom alien hunter Stoat Muldoon (voiced by movie legend Robert Stack). This kids' show is funny to me and I'm 14 years old!I noticed a lot of bad reviews from this show and I think that this show doesn't deserve them...So what if the show getting bed reviews? I LOVE IT! It makes being flogged with 5 copies of the Sunday newspaper from hardcore Invader Zim fans seem worthwhile."Peace and Equality...Let's live together, let's live in harmony!"
Op_Prime That summary doesn't begin to describe how bad this show is. Besides an incredibly stupid title, the plot to the show is really dumb. It makes no sense. Whatever action or humor seen in the show is incredibly lame. The computer animation is so bad, no where nearly as good as the many other computer animated series out there. This show is such a waste of a time slot and takes time away from good shows like Invader Zim. Nick should get rid of this garbage and try to regain some dignity.
dootuss Ok, Nickelodeon has us suffering with crap like Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, and Catdog. So what's the next 30-minute suck-fest the network has for us, well the show is called Butt Ugly martians, and it joins the ranks of those shows easily. The characters are pathetic (especially the human teenagers) and the animation for a 3d cartoon is sad, and the characters are pretty poorly animated (what's up with those eyebrows on the human kids?). The episodes are pretty lame too as well. This show is a defining proof that Nickelodeon has REALLY lost it. I didn't think it could get any worse, but this show made it worse all right. These dumb shows they keep airing keep getting worse, and worse. Give me "You can't do that on televison, or Danger Mouse any day instead of this garbage.
Linzack I didn't know what I was getting into when I tuned into The Butt-Ugly Martians on Nick. What a wonderful surprise. The show has an unique, 3D look and the characters are energetic, fun and had me laughing. I didn't care for the Earth kids as much, but what a wonderful funny man Muldoon is. The show is very carefully crafted on many levels, with interference from space as well as Earth. I liked it a lot, and it's far more interesting and less stupid than Invader Zim.
