Info

Fashion designer, author, actress, TV personality, entrepreneur Nicole Richie lives anything but a simple life, yet -- as do many celebrities who have something to say and a willingness to share it with millions of complete strangers -- she still finds time to fill her Twitter feed. Ritchie's tweets are the inspiration for "Candidly Nicole," specifically the humorous, outlandish, unfiltered and often inappropriate musings she shares with her four million-plus followers. The series details her daily adventures, her style, relationships, work and journey to adulthood. Her father, singer Lionel Richie, makes cameo appearances, along with a core group of friends, all of whom are subject to Nicole's tongue-in-cheek commentary on every subject.

Candidly Nicole Audience Reviews

Protraph Lack of good storyline.
Listonixio Fresh and Exciting
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
jessearoberts This show is farce and it's pretty good. It's making fun of Hollywood and your typical 'reality' TV show. The humor is pretty witty and quick. This show is scripted, there's possibly some ad lib going on, but if you think this is a 'reality' show, you'll be way off. It's close to the vein of "Portlandia" making fun of hipsters, instead it's riffing on Hollywood and reality stars. It's almost like a sketch comedy show. Even in it's formatting. Instead of standup a la "Chappelle" there is her in front of a white seamless discussing the topics of the episode.
atlasmb What exactly is a "reality show"? As these new iterations of "reality" hit the small screen, they sometimes challenge the concept. When you watch the Kardashians, you know they are aware of the cameras, no matter how comfortable they get with them. When you watch Leah Remini's new show ("It's All Relative"), she and her family seem to be performing for the cameras, but they seem genuine and they are genuinely funny. When you watch "#CandidlyNicole", the entire show feels like a fake. I am not saying it's scripted, but I would be surprised if the producers did not have discussions with the "actors" prior to filming, with suggestions about how they play their parts and how the story might flow.If Nicole really is the person she portrays on her show, she admittedly has a self-deprecating sense of humor, but she is basically clueless about life. This show does not feel like reality. It feels more like a brainstorming exercise for a comedy writing troupe. There is a "let's shock the audience" feel to the proceedings #howkookycanshebe. After ten minutes, I was ready to change channels. In this day of superior television, this show cannot even qualify as a guilty pleasure. More like torture.
shinypinkpolish Hands down the worst garbage on TV right now. I used to like Nicole, but after this I think she is a complete moron that needs to give her children up for adoption, because she is not at all fit to be a parent. She complains that other mothers don't like her, but really look how she acts. She makes a mockery of doctors and other professionals on this show. She tries way too hard to appear younger than a woman in her 30s. Some of her one liners are okay, but the majority of the show makes you cringe because you think about someone this stupid having kids. Hopefully the nanny raises them, and one day they will look back to this show and be quite embarrassed,
YourUncle Darnell Unbelievable! If you thought that the Kardashians having their own show was a depressing commentary on modern society, you are in for a shock, friends. It's just gotten a whole lot worse with this horrible Ritchie woman getting her own show.Who on earth is the genius that decides who gets their own show and who doesn't?Moreover, how on earth do they justify giving this sorry excuse for a human being airtime?I cannot imagine a worse person based on her egregious record on various human rights issues being awarded a media platform from which to spew more bile.
