The Stevens are a middle-class family living in Sacramento, CA. Husband and father Steve is a successful attorney. Wife and mother Eileen is a state Senator. Their oldest child Donnie ia a high-school sports legend. Ren, an 8th-grader, is just about the perfect daughter. She makes the best grades, she's popular, she does volunteer work and other extracurricular tasks by the score. Her brother Louis, in the 7th grade, is her opposite. He likes to sleep late, he's messy, his grades are not good, he's frequently in detention and he seems to take nothing seriously. But he is serious about finding something of his own that he can do to put himself on a par with the rest of his overachieving family. Though he and Ren occasionally soften their attitudes toward each other, at any given moment the're likely to be fighting like mongoose and cobra.

Humbersi The first must-see film of the year.
bkoganbing Shia LaBoeuf was the star of Even Stevens about a family named Stevens from Sacramento, California where the mother was a State Senator no less. Mom was played by Donna Pescow and her husband Tom Virtue made a good living as a lawyer. They had three kids. Son Nick Spano was a jock, not all that much upstairs but with his athletic abilities unless he got injured would never have to worry where the next meal was coming from. Daughter Christy Carlson Romano was an academic whiz also beautiful and popular. No doubt she was going to be the family winner. But the youngest was LaBoeuf, a screw up in every way. You kind of felt bad for Louis Stevens, he must have been under great pressure in that family of winners he came from. In the end of every episode you hoped he would get it together and have a reasonably successful adulthood.Louis Stevens in a very funny but also poignant way appealed to every kid out there who felt he was shortchanged somehow. The show also had an appealing group of semi-regular characters who popped every so often in episodes. All in all it was a good family entertainment show.
Cherie_angel13 I personally think that Shia LaBeouf is so far the most successful Disney Star. All of the others either suck at acting or ya just suck overall. Hannah Montana is probably the worst Disney Star so far. But anyway this show was actually funny. All the Disney shows try to be funny, some were actually good. Now they are all over rated and have stupid jokes that you never laugh at. Sometimes I feel ashamed watching these shows with my sister. Even Stevens was great, and I love Shia LaBeouf! Look at where he is now! He's an amazing actor and he's extremely cute. Even Stevens was the bomb! And I hope all the newer Disney Shows burn to hell cause really, they just suck.
loveshiaandtaylor I love this show so much i have every episode recorded of it and i watch it every day shia labeouf does an awesome job as the main character (louis stevens) and christy romano (ren) who i am obsessed with seems to the the perfect actress to play a perfect girl this show is my favorite show of all time and i give it 4 out of 4 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!
Guitar-8 First off, this show made Shia LaBeouf a star! He had won a Daytime Emmy for "Performer In A Children's Series".I always liked it when Louis Stevens got to play the drums on the show. But my favorite episode goes to "Influenza; The Musical". Jim Wise wrote all the tunes for that episode. My favorite tune; "I Always Find A Way"! because Coach Terry Tugnut's inside Louis' locker singing the gag line, "But Not Today"!
