Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
KC Quinn I cannot believe this series was canceled after one season.I found it captured my interested from the very first moment. It was unique.Upon reading the description of the show I initially thought...oh no, a high-end restaurant, mob ties, a single parent, alcoholism and David Schwimmer in a serious role...this is not going anywhere. I watched 1 episode and it just grabbed me. Everything was presented in a manner far from the way I thought it would be. It did not compare to anything else I had viewed previously and that means a lot when looking for something unique. I had not seen David Schwimmer in a serious role and he did well as did all the other actors.Surely this series did not have enough exposure...that is the only reason I can think of for AMC stating 'the show simply didn't achieve the results needed to move forward with a second season'.I am extremely disappointed and will miss the series even if it lived for only 1 season.
shirish_kumar I had a lot of expectation from this show but with every new episode it just continue to deteriorate. After seeing the explosion in the last episode, I am giving up. I wasted 8 hoursThe background and set-up in the first episode seem promising. But unfortunately, the story and the script has no leg. Dialogs are pretty badly written, many characters have not been developed properly, and on top of that bad acting. Writers had tried hard to make the show interesting by introducing sudden surprise twist and turns - but these twist & turns are in-coherent and seemed forced rather than part of the story. The sudden death of the detective and then the reaction of her daughter is ludicrous. The constant flash back of the death of the kid's mother is annoying at best. Also the soft light affect in the flashback to evoke emotion makes me want to puke. Overall the weakest part of this series is its story - I am not sure what it is trying to tell, where it is going, and what it is building up to.
pinkstaff-21605 I've watched every episode so far. I like D. Schwimmer and J. Sturgiss as actors. What is with the fathers assistant? Does she ever speak and/or have another outfit. How many times can Schwimmer get dumped on in this show before he shows emotion. Too many predictable scripts. Obviously Sturgiss is the "Beast". But, what else can happen in this show in order to move it forward for another season. A guy who pulls teeth? Come on, how corny. When are going to find out the manager is pregnant from Dion? I'm expecting it to happen. I'm hoping the rest of the season is better. I just want to see where it could possibly go. Will the son ever speak? I don't feel enough background depth between the two main characters. So what happens the restaurant is successful, then what do we have to worry about? Not enough I think. Added: 29 Jul, 2016: I was pleasantly surprised by some scenes in the last episode. Maybe they rewrote the last 2 shows, after reading reviews. I still would like to see more, please smile Schwimmer. Sturgiss your overacting! You both can do better.September 6, 2016:It's been a while since the season ended. I was surprised by the final show. Wow, blowing up the restaurant! Was Dion's money blown up, hmmm probably because it would be predictable. Just a note; Dion was hiding his coke then money in the couch cushion. Didn't anyone notice that the filling had changed or the fact that he cut out the foam when it was empty. I think I would have noticed that sitting on the couch. Are they still hacked into the city gas supply? OK, so we are left with a blown up restaurant. Did the manager screw up and not get insurance?...Probably! We are left with the possibility of everyone being blown up, you know that won't happen, because they are the main characters! I wonder who opened the gas line. Possibly someone from the robbery that Dion and his uncle did, that's my guess. And, finally the son speaks, just at the wrong time. Will he go back to silence now? My prediction; the son will get hurt the most from the explosion. That will give Schwimmer more reason to mope around! My final prediction; eventually Schwimmer will donate a kidney to his dad and at the same time find out his son is from Sturgiss...
Danny Blankenship "AMC'S" new series "Feed the Beast" is an entertaining take and spin on getting by the best way you can even if it means illegal means! The drama is a spin and drama take that intersects with the mob and deals with money under the table being the themes that run the show. Anyway Dion(Jim Sturgess)has just got out of prison and he's still in debt with the mob so he decides to open up a restaurant with his old high school buddy Tommy(some well deserved work for David Schwimmer)and Tommy has some problems on the side he's a single dad with a mute son and he's in a power struggle with his rich dad who also puts a hand into the operation of the restaurant. And this series for cable true may not be "The Sopranos" still it's got plenty of blood and violence and action to keep it interesting. Overall check it out this series is a good vice spin on morality, money, and getting the job done anyway you can and by any means necessary so feed your viewing pleasure and watch "Feed the Beast".
