evyeniarocks My brother and I used to watch this show when we were in middle school. And we thought this was the single greatest piece of art humanity had ever created. We seriously thought this was the funniest thing of all time. We worshiped this show like Christians worship Jesus Christ. So when it went off the air, we were shocked and devastated. We kept all fourteen episodes on our DVR and watched them over and over again until we switched TV providers and lost them all for good - because, despite it being the greatest show ever made, the network never re-aired the episodes, never put it on Netflix, or even some smaller streamer. It was like it ceased to exist.Years passed. My brother and I would every so often reminisce on the greatest show ever. "Hey remember good vibes?" I'd ask. "Yeah, that show was hilarious," he'd reply. "Wish there was some way we could watch it." Times were changing. I graduated high school, my brother now standing significantly taller than me, both of us had seen so much more than our young, wide- eyed middle school selves. The world was different now. Life was a bit colder, a bit harsher. But Good Vibes still stood cemented atop a pedestal, frozen in time. I almost wish we'd just let it stay up there. But we reached for it, and it all came smashing down.Once again, my brother reminded me of the hilarious show from our youth, Good Vibes. This time, I decided I was done wallowing in memories. I wanted to experience the comedic goldmine once again. So I took to the internet, found a sketchy streaming website where Good Vibes would actually play. We got some popcorn, pulled up the website on the TV, and, after a long 6 years, watched Good Vibes once more. As I was selecting the episode from the short list, my brother said, "God, I can't believe they only made fourteen episodes of this show!" After the first episode was over, we both sat there in a stunned silence for a moment, only to be broken by my brother saying "God, I can't believe they made fourteen episodes of that show."I don't know what there is to like about the show. I don't even really know what I ever liked about the show. There is no comedic value in any of the joke writing. It seems each joke only plays on shock value, meant to get a reaction out of middle schoolers, which they clearly do succeed in. But watching it as an adult, these jokes meant to shock are either so not shocking that I didn't realize they were jokes, or just straight up uncomfortable to watch. There is a right way to do shocking, but this is not it.Also, Woody is probably the most unlikable and unrelatable character in television (perhaps all of storytelling?)history. He seems like a shell of a human, with no clear personality. Each episode, it seems like the writers just sort of mold his character into whatever's necessary to that plot line. His voice acting doesn't help either. It's so cold and emotionless, so not right for the part. I just don't understand him at all.The show does have a few good moments. Mondo is a pretty likable kid and, although his jokes usually fall flat, he can get, maybe, one laugh per episode. Which is good! His mom is pretty funny, too. Although she seems kinda like a cool person who's trapped in the script these terrible writers are setting her in. Like, she's just hanging out and being chill and cool, and then the writers nudge her with a stick from the wings and shout "Hey! Talk about your boobs some more!" What I've learned from this experience is that when you remember something from your childhood that you love and cherish, maybe just let it be loved and cherished and don't try to go looking for it and realize it's terrible and rotten and nothing's good anymore because your'e an adult. Cause.. you know, you're childhood memories are the only salvaged things that you can still see like a child.

Spit Fire This show is definitely one of the funniest shows i've recently seen, it has so much comedy that just doesn't get old. I believe anyone from mid teens to people in their 50s will enjoy this series as it has the type of comedy that anyone would enjoy, it says out loud what everyone thinks in their mind and in the best comical way. If you enjoy humorous more adult centered comedy this show is definitely for you, i guarantee its impossible to not like this show. Ten out of ten on my end, i'd love to see more episodes of this series if more people give it a chance this could be one of the leading comedy shows like the popular series "Family Guy"

meltinzone Good Vibes is the funniest 'new/fresh' animated show that's ever been made, period. If you haven't at least watched the first episode, well I guarantee you'll get at least one moment where you spit your meal or beverage across the room in an uplifting chuckle-roar. And seriously, who doesn't like a good chuckle-roar, hahaha. Now think, when's the last time one of those long-running animated shows truly made you laugh like that? Can't remember, don't worry, me neither ;)Everyone I meet that seems like they need a good laugh, well I tell them about this funny unheard of animated show called Good Vibes. You know, only funny huge names like Adam Brody (Smiley Face, The Other Guys) and Danny McBride (Your Highness, Eastbound & Down) chose to star in it because they could see the animated scene needed something this fresh and cleverly written.Coming here and seeing the low rating and lack of reviews, well hell. I actually wrote a review way back in April with the title: "Haven't laughed so hard at a first episode since Good Vibes!" for the show Betty White's Off Their Rockers. I then went on to say something about laughing as hard or as much since seeing Good Vibes. I mean think of it like this, if writing a review for another show makes you think back to the last time you laughed so long and hard, well that must mean the show you're thinking back to left quite a funny impression. In this case that show I was thinking back to was Good Vibes, therefore one could say it's pretty damn funny from that aspect alone.With the plethora of new shows all starting up, I decided to try the new animated show Brickleberry, hoping for one tenth of the laughter that Good Vibes brought me, but nope. So I guess the question becomes, if MTV is stupid enough to drop a TRULY HILARIOUS GEM like Good Vibes, not realizing it could/will go on to be the next Family Guy or South Park, well Comedy Central and Adult Swim, Where you at!? If you pick Good Vibes up, do you know how loyal those fans would become to your brand? I'd buy a whole bunch of merchandise just because you kept a great show alive long enough and brought it to an audience that truly appreciate awesome humor. In turn, bringing a show like this to your already amazing network/s, well I'm sure fans of the network would be so amazed at the level of humor and writing in Good Vibes that even they'd buy some merch, just to say thanks for bringing them something so profoundly funny. The one thing I'd ask is you leave it alone, don't change anything, anything. Everything as it was made the show great, adding or changing writers/styles/characters/etc before fans of your network got to see it as it was will kill any chance of a third season. By all means, in season 3, make it even more awesome, just give it a single season on your network to run as it was and watch what happens ;)I'm a 24yo dude with a wicked sense of humor, for instance, my elbow isn't my 'funny bone', that name's reserved for something else...right ;p Therefore one would be right in assuming you'll enjoy Good Vibes providing you fall into at least one of these categories: 1) are a chilled person 2) enjoy laughing till your belly hurts 3) aren't a pretentious politically correct douche who thinks you're 'above/better than' dick and fart jokes 4) can laugh at yourself 5) like to part-ay!As all those other long running shows can become kind of stale from time to time, well at least give the first episode of Good Vibes a go, it brings a whole new shi-BANG back to animation. Plus, you'll be glad you did. ;)My idea of comedy? Well here's some other funny TV shows I enjoy/ed; South Park, Crank Yankers, Bored To Death, Chuck, Fonejacker, That '70s Show, Wilfred, Robot Chicken, Workaholics, IT Crowd, Family Guy, Futurama, Boston Legal, Beavis and Butthead (new season) -- there's a ton more but that's a pretty diverse list of shows that have all, at one point or another, had me (quite literally) in tears laughing.Hope that helps some of you in deciding whether or not to give it a go. :)

TommyKnockerz "Good Vibes" is funny as hell. I think it has the potential to be a long running show IF they maintain the same writers and don't try to make too many unnecessary changes. They do need to do one thing though. I think they need to add a couple of recurring characters to make sure they have a decent base for story lines. Don't let it get repetitive and therefor boring, like "Beavis & Butthead" did the first time. I haven't been watching it this time but hopefully they learned their lesson on that one. "Beavis & Butthead" started out funny but it got so incredibly repetitive because there were no more story lines for the 2 characters. Keep the good work going with this animated show and you'll have a successful, long running show. If you allow it to go stale, you may as well put it out of its misery now.
