Harry's Law Audience Reviews

ThrillMessage There are better movies of two hours length. I loved the actress'performance.
Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
starkey-11000 I loved this series and can't figure out why one earth they would have canceled it. This was one of the best shows I had seen in a very long time.David E. Kelley created this series about fate and the people it brings together. It was different, much different than any of the shows on now. I love Kathy Bates and her character on this show. Her "tell it like it is" attitude was great. The wide range of diversity in the office and characters made for a wonderful and exciting show to look forward to each week.Any news of a return? I sure wish they would reconsider.Jen
ilcool90 When I got the news that this series was canceled I was really angry and confused. The series had good viewer ratings, so what pushed the TV channel management towards canceling it is beyond me. Series is about a former patent law lawyer ( Cathy Bates ) who had enough of the same boring cases, got herself fired from a major law firm and started over in a former shoe shop in a bad neighborhood.Cathy Bates plays an awesome role of a grumpy old lady who is actually tired of everything. Her law firm expands because more lawyers want to join her. All of them have style of their own. Series shows in a good detailed way how the case is being prepared and how are thing done in court. It's very educational, and because actors are so good in their roles and entertaining and you can't wait for the next episode. Everyone who is interested in law I advice to go and watch the episodes.
akulier Can anyone please let me know what happened to this great show? A few days ago, I discovered it and watched season 1 within only 2 days; I was simply hooked. A charming, touching and funny show with an incredibly great Kathy Bates. Finally a show again that I really loved, some parts even had what I call "West Wing"moments. And now - this is essentially a completely new show where they have left the two main characters, but changed every possible aspect of it, including the wonderful soundtrack music. I mean it is still quite good, but just your average lawyer show just the same as they have been produced for the last 30 years. Any explanation for that or a reaction from the network?
Bettie-168-874953 I loved this show, until the first episode of the new season. I'm so disappointed! What on earth have they done to such a great show? And what a waste of a great talent like Kathy Bates! The charm of this show was the one-on-one accessibility of a lawyer with an open door to the poor community. A gang member could open the door from the mean streets and find Harry, a grumpy yet fearless advocate, on the other side of that door. Now it looks like any other cookie-cutter law show. There was the fun of a law office combined with a show store. Now that's gone. And what happened to the assistant, who wanted to be a lawyer. There was no explanation of his departure. The storyline of the past seasons included Tommy and Harry becoming friends, but there was still a respectable distance that kept things interesting. The quirky underdog was what gave this show appeal and separated it from all the other "Law" shows on TV. Harry's Law lost at least one fan.
