Haunted is an American television program first aired in September 2002 on UPN. The program, which was filmed in Vancouver, was canceled in November 2002 due to low ratings. As a result, only seven of the completed episodes were aired. However, all eleven filmed episodes have subsequently been shown in international airings of the show. In August 2007, the series aired on HDNet. The series then began airing on Sci Fi in September 2007 and January 2008. In 2009, Chiller began airing this program as part of their daily marathon line-up. It plays there sporadically. A marathon of the entire series ran all day on October 31, 2010 on Universal HD.

Haunted Audience Reviews

Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
mrandall I was very pleased with this show. It was scary and character driven. The stories were interesting. The ghosts -- scary. The story lines were really getting interesting, with his ex wife starting to date another man, the reoccuring sicko ghost, and his relationship with his former partner from the police force, all of this was really coming together. But it seems to have vanished from the upn line up. What happened?
jesouhaite78 When I first saw the promos for this show, they really made me want to watch it, but what I tend to find is that most of these shows don't live up to the hype at all. This IS NOT the case for Haunted. The writing is impeccable, the acting incredible and the music (composed by Mark Snow) is eerily haunting and fitting for each scene. It keep you on the edge of your seat and wondering what's going to happen next. I think that this is one of the best new shows of 2002 and if you are (or were)into shows like The X Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, CSI, Strange World, VR5, Twilight Zone or Prey, this show is for you. Even if you aren't though, you should give it a try.
thebarnacle I'm impressed with the richness of the show "Haunted". It's creepy, tenebrous, and dramatic. The season premiere was good enough to hold my attention all the way through, and that is something not easily done with dark drama. The subject matter is so dark in fact, that I don't see this show drawing a sizeable crowd. Just what sort of demographic are they going for here? Personally, I'm not sure if I can take this every week.
pjmuck I accidently caught the season premiere of this show while channel surfing and trying to recouperate from time I lost watching the season premiere of two other horrendous sitcoms. Boy, am I glad I stumbled upon this show. If the 1st episode is any indication of what's to come, then "Haunted" should deservedly earn the kind of respect and viewer loyalty that has endeared X-Files.Spoilers ahead:Matthew Fox (of Party of Five Fame) stars as private eye Frank Taylor, who's on the trail of a child kidnapper/murderer. He finally tracks him down and a rooftop battle ensues (guess who's going over the ledge eventually?). Frank is seriously stabbed by the kidnapper and blacks out. While on the operating table, Frank has an out of body experience and encounters both his missing child (who apparently was kidnapped years before) and the spirit of the kidnapper he was pursuing in the after life. He survives the operation, but over time he begins to discover that he is now susceptible to being spooked, as he is visited by spirits from beyond, including both the victims and the perpetrators. It's an interesting premise, as Frank is both "haunted" by spirits of his new-found ability as well as the memory and guilt of the loss of his own child. The show was very well-done and the acting was believable. I've always liked Mathew Fox, and I've always been surprised that he hasn't achieved the fame and recognition that some of his other Party of Five co-stars of lesser talent have achieved (Jennifer Love Hewitt, anyone?). Here's hoping he's got a better agent now.Overall, a highly suspensful show and scarier than any X-Files I've seen.
