ManiakJiggy This is How Movies Should Be Made
Develiker terrible... so disappointed.
BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
JamesRutland Iron Fist is a good series but every time the script introduces claire character, both the hero's standards and storytelling are devastated because of the stupid approach the character has in the story. The developers use this character to avoid heroes destroy the enemies so to preserve the villain for future utilization... so to make the story so stupid that the viewer considers the narrated vicissitudes mediocre, furthermore, the actress is damaged by the stupid image the character assumes in the story. I hope she is an infiltrated villain because otherwise they have compromised Luke Cage and Iron fist series for nothing.
faithfulgrace-330-50991 The concept is cool. The show could be good. Iron Fist is a fun east meets west character who is so shaped by his eastern training he's always saying crazy stuff. But the way he is written AND acted (there is so much fault both parties are responsible) he comes across as the biggest literary idiot since Steve Urkel but not nearly as fun or lovable. Hope they course correct. Honestly, I'd love to see a "Danny what happened to you?", "I had to get surgery that made me into a different actor" plot twist.
Johnny H. Iron Fist doesn't even hold up to the weakest episodes of Daredevil; it's not that the show is through and through awful, it's just that it's a been-there-done-that superhero story we've seen done better and bolder in Arrow and Batman Begins and even the other Marvel Netflix shows. We've seen better kung-fu wisdom in The Matrix, Enter the Dragon and so on. Iron Fist is a consolidation of action movie cliches and tropes all cobbled together in an underwhelming show that is WAY too repetitive in just the first three episodes alone.Though the pacing does get somewhat better later on, Iron Fist doesn't overcome its problems and instead it's hampered by them in ways that none of the other Netflix Marvel shows succumbed to. The villain's bland, Finn Jones can't escape his Game of Thrones shadow most of the time he's on screen (he's not a leading man), and the supporting stories are too damn weak for a 13-episode story-arc.2/5 stars. This is the weakest thing Marvel's produced; that I've seen. I'm reluctant to see Inhumans because... you know: apparently that sucked too.
magguilmot The problem with the character for adults is that he is a good little boy. At heart. All grown up. An eternal 8y-old boy with a superpower and a quest of sorts. Sell that to children and it's a hit. For me it's a miss because the character is not allowed to grow.Adults will like the great job of the main supporting "villains" actors and that's about it. The lead actor not only has a crappy character, he's clearly not had time enough to work through his action scenes and he is a poor tai-chi student to boot. The script is poor but the dialogues are awful. What is left? Huh ? A bit of romance, nice enough, but like I said the dialogues are awful and the good girl is as poorly written as the good boy. So. Not much, really.
