Jess Mastriani was a normal person who only wanted to take over her parents' restaurant in Indiana. But that changed when she was hit by lightning. After that she began seeing visions of missing people. Jess decides to use her newfound ability to be a consultant to the FBI, helping locate missing individuals. Eventually, she is hired by the bureau full-time and trained to become an agent, but her by-the-book nature sometimes clashes with the personality of her partner. Jess and her colleagues work out of the FBI's Washington, D.C., office.

GurlyIamBeach Instant Favorite.
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
BigbrothersTwistedSister Great show especially if you are into FBI drama's- but with less detail than CSI. The visions give it an extra 'Charmed' like twist with great acting and exciting episodes.I do feel Series 1 had better actors and more likable characters, i preferred Series 1 Jess to series 2 and 3 Jess. I have not seen every episode of series 1 yet but it is already looking good! Series 2 and 3 i enjoyed very much but felt the new characters left Jess out a lot, ignoring her in 'anything for the baby' series 3 part 2, because of this she almost got killed, and ignoring her again in Truth Or Dare (2)series 2 where she took a bullet for Nicole. I guess that draws you closer to Jess but drag me further away from Antonio and Nicole, who otherwise i very much like.A lot of imagination went into the visions and it is recognisable. Great programme! Love it!
flikchik9 I really thought this was going to be my cup of tea and it wasn't too bad when Gloria Reuben was in it but as soon as Vivica A. Fox took over it became totally unbelievable and the acting and directing is truly awful. I really like anything with the supernatural in and I love "Medium" with Patricia Arquette and also enjoy the old episodes of "Charmed" but this is just laughable. I think it has to do with the really bad acting of Vivica ( I don't dislike her ) but she delivers her lines so badly. I call it over acting, like every thing she says is exaggerated. am I the only one who thinks this? I cannot understand why this will nor be accepted. I have seen plenty of comments only a couple of lines long and this tells me I have to write 10 lines. this is the first time I've sent any comments in so I'd appreciate a little help with how it works. this programme does not warrant 10 lines!
blanche-2 I really enjoyed both this series and Wild Card when they debuted last year. Both series were completely revamped for their second seasons. While I don't feel Wild Card has suffered that much for the changes, I am very disappointed in what they've done to Missing, aka 1-800-Missing (poor show, it didn't even get to keep its title). For some reason, probably just chemistry, the teaming of Caterina Scorsone and Gloria Reuben worked better than does Scorsone and Viveca Fox. The idea this year, apparently, was to make the series more intense, with Scorsone's character becoming FBI. Gone are her family and all the things that gave this series a lighter touch. Also, the visions seem less integral to the story lines. I think my biggest gripe is the theme song is gone. I just loved the old one "This dream is real...take a look around..." It had a more lyrical quality - but then, so did the show.
robb_mavins I just had a chance to watch the pilot episode and Caterina Scorsone is amazing as Jess Mastriani, I sincerely hope this show gets a long run. The interplay between the characters is well crafted and I very easily bought into the premise. There was something about the understated & matter of fact way that Caterina Scorsone delivers her character's gift that works well for `suspension of disbelief'It was also a joy to see Alberta Watson playing a mom, she scared the heck out of me when she played Madeline from `Nikita'. Writer Producers Davis & Laurin deliver great characters. I hope that this show us given a chance to build an audience.
