VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Stellead Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
nickcotton-1 Pretty much everything about this show is wrong, and it completely misses the mark. My house mates at university and I have talked about how much potential a student sitcom could have, but this fails on all fronts. The first day of university is a scary time, and everyone can empathise with the fear of being embarrassed by a parent in front of everyone, so the very first scene worked, but from there it was downhill. The real thrill of living in a flat for the first time away from home is based on the fact that you don't know anybody else, and you can be who you want to be, so sticking 2 best friends in the same flat means that the mark has been missed there. Instead of going out to parties, club nights, etc, it seems all these guys are doing is going to lectures on human rights. That's not how I celebrated freedom. All of the characters are one-dimensional, all the jokes are predictable, and I don't remember any of the characters getting particularly drunk at any point. One thing that can be said for the show, is that you do feel empathy with the characters. When the ginger's being annoying, you feel annoyed; any time Jay from The Inbetweeners speaks, you groan just like the other characters.Watch Undeclared instead. A much better show.
HardlyNoticeable Watched it and thought new comedy so I'll give it a shot. It included James Buckley (Jay, Inbetweeners) which is another reason I gave it a shot. I thought it was a cringworthy laughter but also a feel good sitcom. I definitely would recommend this if you enjoyed American Pie or the Inbetweeners. Hopefully the show will remain the same and not go downhill from here like other BBC Three comedies do so. It is also available to watch on BBC HD channel which should be pretty awesome. I watched it with a friend of mine so it made the show a lil better by being in the m00d to laugh but overall 9/10. Very well thought out comedy and I thoroughly enjoyed every second.
