Whoever claims the "One Piece" will be named the new King of the Pirates. Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who consumed a "Devil Fruit," decides to follow in the footsteps of his idol, the pirate Shanks, and find the One Piece. It helps, of course, that his body has the properties of rubber and that he's surrounded by a bevy of skilled fighters and thieves to help him along the way. One Piece Audience Reviews

TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
abhinavrajeev The story of Monkey D Luffy is simply very addictive. First of all it's not the same cliche of someone saving the world from something. It's the story of a pirate who want to travel around the world and be the best among pirates. In his journey he meets new people who becomes his nakama or comrades. His journey earns him and his crew many enemies including the govt. The anime is full of action adventure comedy drama and virtually everything. It's an all in one package for anime lovers. If you will take my word for it start watching now you'll not regret this.
alphamorty One Piece is a beautiful mix of intricate world-building, colorful characters, themes, visual grandeur & expert long-term story telling with thematic consistency, insane detail & epic pay-offs. While there's no denying it's decline in quality as an adaptation, the first 300 episodes of One Piece, which are adapted from first 440 chapters of the manga are quite faithful. I'd suggest switching to the manga after that point.
Aditya varadarajan I Have seen many anime which I liked, but this one right here just cannot be explained, man I am really out of words. So I'll make this review short. There is something in this anime for everyone. At first glance this anime just looks like any other anime, but trust me it gets better, way better!. This show is one of those shows which will make you laugh and sob at the same time. The creator is genius, the Foreshadowing, the plot twists, story line, flashbacks, everything there, is just out of the world. But even this anime is subject to fillers. Which long running anime doesn't?. So just watch this show and be ready to get 'Awestruck'
johnsonjoshua-17027 One Piece is an amazing series. It has great and just the right amount of adventure, action, comedy and drama. A little warning is that it will start off slow compared to most anime you may watch but after the characters are done with their first goal the show finally starts pacing up. I'll be honest, I came into the show with really low expectations. I didn't think it would be worth my time or a stupid story. But after it started and I was done with the first episode I was speechless. The way the show is headed is the thing that grabs your interest. I think that was one of the reasons I like it so much right now. One of the greatest things about this show is that the concept and story might seem "unoriginal" or easy to just sum up in a season. But the show expands that entire journey they're on in such a huge way you honestly couldn't imagine by just reading this. When it comes to characters you'll love them or just not hate them at least. The creator has a nice way of not trying to rub them on the screen and get them on your nerves. If this is your first anime then that's great. It'll be a fun start to a long journey. If your a Naruto fan or Dragon Ball fan then you'll feel the same experience you had watching them. Pretty much everybody who's told me the show didn't really entertain them were people who just watch any random episode which I'll be honest, you won't understand a thing if you watch something in the middle of the arc(season). But this series all together shares a great lesson and that's if you never give up you'll accomplish your dreams, even if it cost you a lot in your life, always fight for what you want to do. This is my review for One Piece.
