Property Brothers Audience Reviews

Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
kmkinmass Many homeowners are actually frustrated with the type of contractors out there. It is usually difficult to find a quality, efficient and ethical contractor in a decent price range without going high-end. It has become very frustrating. So, when a homeowner is trying to fix and update areas of their home in a quality manner with style, it becomes very frustrating watching the property brothers and others "dreams come true" projects (which are high-end).If there are more contractors in a reasonable price range like the property brothers, then life would be easier. But there are not. So, I can't watch this show anymore because it is unrealistic and frustrating. It's so much easier to find an electrician or painter only. I am beginning to despise the word "contractors" because many of them gave their own profession a bad rep.
Mendocino-California I have spent about five years of my life rehabbing all kinds of homes, business's and anything that has a roof on it. I like this show because its "classy" and is very grounded with lots of humor when a situation gets into a crisis. Every new home owner is treated with respect and their feelings and thoughts are highly valued and incorporated into their new home. I am always learning something.I have never seen an unhappy customer with the property brothers... they always seem to come out over the top... making the new home owners... who are usually in so much fear from problems and financial investment... to utter ecstasy upon reveal of their new homes.I am amazed at not only do they transform an ugly, dysfunctional, beat up home... to a beautiful palace where one would think Royalty would live... and or a billionaire. If every couple could have a property brothers experience... the world would be a much happier place to live in... maybe one day there will be a "Property Brothers University" to train people to team up and do this all over the world....if existed I would be there right now :)
Fred G. Sanford I sometimes wonder if this show is a joke. I mean this in all seriousness. The prices of the homes these guys find to renovate are beyond ridiculous. They recently showed a young couple a 1700-2000 sq. ft old home listed for $749,000!!!! Are you kidding me? The house wasn't worth a penny more than $150k.I can't believe the prices people pay for homes these days. I worked as a general contractor for over 10 years and I can honestly tell you, you are being robbed if you dole out this kind of cash for a home. When it is time to sell, you have overpaid by such an astronomical amount, you will almost certainly take a loss. That is what happened in the United States beginning around 2006. It seems as though people have not learned any lessons from what happened.Resist the urge to buy 'RIGHT NOW', because you need a better living arrangement or because someone else might 'get the house'. Let them have it. Save your money and be sensible. People toss around $500,000- $850,000 home prices like they are a drop in the bucket. That is a lot of money. Think about that before committing to such a a tremendous obligation.
Susan McCrindle Property Brothers is undoubtedly my new guilty pleasure!! I've been watching home renovation shows for awhile, but this is the first show that consistently leaves me wanting more (I'm even hooked on the reruns! LOL)! Jonathan & Drew are so down-to-earth and bring a great balance of humour while showing how buying a fixer-upper is feasible to most any budget. I've learned more about the process watching them then I have with any other show and laughed along the way too. I love how they detail out the costs, and when adjustments are made also show areas where the savings happen. My biggest struggle is fighting the urge to take a sledgehammer to my rental house! I've loved every episode...there is no way to pick a favourite! Way to go guys....can't wait for Season 2! I'm hoping when the time comes, I'll be able to work with the guys to get the home of MY dreams!
