candycan16 I Absolutely Love this show!!!!! Being in a country like New Zealand it always seems we get good shows last the the thing about that is its really annoying that by the time we get the good shows we seem to find out that the shows have been canceled after 1 season. I was so invested in this show and attached to the characters- i only found out about the show 2 days ago and i have already finished season only to find out there are no more seasons. ITs so disappointing, It seems companies are so focused on ratings and making money right off the bat they don't give it a chance to build momentum and the loyal watchers are the ones that get punished by their favorite shows getting canceled. there is so much crap on T.V at the moment with all the reality T.V. In New Zealand 90% of t.v is reality t.v shows its such crap that i no longer watch T.V i have to watch all my favorite shows online just to watch something decent with a bit of substance and intrigue. Very Sad about this show being canceled :(
Kris C. To the writers of this show, I sincerely hope you read this. I've enjoyed PLL since the onset, which is was drew me to this show to begin with. Yes, sadly, this show has now been canceled & no matter how much whining, begging, pleading & or down right petulance I exude, I sincerely doubt those in charge will change their minds & bring it back. Tho I can't help but throw in 1 tiny pout! :~( However, speaking for myself, I shall attempt a touch of begging & pleading to you, that I would truly appreciate it if you could put this story in book form. Because I, again speaking for myself, could REALLY use some closure on this story!! Numerous times I've come across a storyline that I've enjoyed, only to have it abruptly canceled without a true ending! As a fan.. This is cruel & unusual punishment for a crime I didn't commit. (Yes I'm being overly dramatic & I'm throwing in another pout for good measure as well.. :~( ) Sooo... Here's hoping that you hear (read) my plea & put this in book form, so that at least ONCE, the fans (myself at least) can get some closure to a story we have enjoyed! Thank you for reading my rant.. Which by the way, this is the entire reason I created this account. Sincerely, one who would like to "see" the ending in one way or another
el7 Ravenswood follows Pretty Little Liars regular Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) from Rosewood PA to the nearby town of Ravenswood. Caleb arrives in town and instantly bonds with Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) a foster kid who has just discovered the town funeral director is her long lost uncle. The fast friends part makes more sense if you saw the back door pilot on Pretty Little Liars, in which Caleb and Miranda had a fairly long conversation about their respective pasts and Miranda further endeared herself to him by saving his girlfriend Hannah. The standard pilot, admittedly, has a certain campy far-fetched ambiance to it, with some lines of dialog that demand to be riffed upon. That kind of thing is like my catnip though, so I kept watching. I'm glad I didn't give up because episode three, Believe, is actually very good and bodes well for the future quality of this show. The curse that drives the plot is now developing recognizable parameters, the characters have developed distinct personalities with individual motivations, and the actors are developing a rapport that seems to be having a cascade effect on the quality of the dialog. I'm in for however many more episodes of this they make.
autumsphoenix This show was advertised so much, and then fell way short. The exciting previews of a suspenseful show that would have me hooked from the first episode was promising. I tuned in for the Pilot episode gladly, however after about 15 minutes I was already struggling not to change the channel. Although there are a few twist thrown in that were unexpected, most of the episode was moderately predictable. The Narration Throws you directly into a rushed story line, which seems a bit too forced. Overall, it is an okay plot that was poorly put together. Disappointed that instead of a good quality ABC Family show being promoted and aired, (ex.Bunheads) this is what instead is offered. and with only 5 episodes lined up, I can't see them going much further. Ravenswood is a Fail for fall/winter TV.
