Sonic, Sonia, and Manic are the children of Queen Aleena Hedgehog, the rightful ruler of Mobius, and are pursued relentlessly by Doctor Robotnik and his bumbling bounty hunters sidekicks, Sleet and Dingo. As infants, the siblings were separated and placed in hiding to fulfill a prophecy made by the Oracle of Delphius that the triplets would grow up to find their estranged mother, overthrow Robotnik, and take their places once more as Mobius' rightful rulers.

Sonic Underground Audience Reviews

GrimPrecise I'll tell you why so serious
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
donovanmcrale A very good show, great story and animation, wish it returned to finish what it had started.
Robert Plant This was an amazing anime and I would thoroughly recommend it to anybody who enjoys being alive. I have found no flaws yet with this absolute masterpiece and I truly believe that god sent it down to earth to enlighten and guide us on our path towards becoming the ultimate beings who will ascend into the clouds and live in global piece there for eternity. I told the witch doctor I was in love with you I told the witch doctor you didn't love me too And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do He said that .... Chorus: Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang... Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang Walla walla, bing bang I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true I told the witch doctor you didn't love me nice And then the witch doctor, he game me this advice He said to ... Chorus Now, you've been keeping love from me Just like you were a miser And I'll admit I wasn't very smart So I went out and found myself A guy that's so much wiser And he taught me the way to win your heart My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to say My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to do I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you Oh, Baby ....
jordan-haslett So I know a lot of people have seen in and yes to agree with the more varied reviews it's not an amazing show, it just about pases as good in my eyes. One thing that the show does really well is create a Sonic storyline which is a bit out of the norm, admitabley the songs in the show get very tiresome after just a few episodes but they're not a deal breaker. The characters are okay, they're back story's are explored to a decent extent and it does provide an interesting insight into the Sonic universe. That's pretty much where the praise stops, I mean I like watching the show but as much as I do I'm not blind to seeing it's pitfalls. The animation is pretty bad, the voices barley sync up with the characters and often the characters replies would be very delayed. Like a bunch if he other reviewers I was very disappointed with how the show ended, the gang of hedgehogs never found their mother. Instead we were just left with a bog standard final episode!
Lee Knickle I loved Sonic Underground when i was a kid and Still do to this day. I unfortunately will probably never see this show in a box set of DVD's here in Canada. Oh well I still run around trying to be Sonic or Manic, or Sonia whichever suites my fancy at the time. ^_^ Oh and sometimes I play Knux too! I watch a lot of old cartoons but Sonic Underground has to be one of my fav top tens. Did anyone know the singing voice for Sonic in Sonic Underground now plays Martin Mystery?! I didn't till my brother pointed it out to me. :) But I know Sonic will be around for years to come and I will be there for every new show, comic, game, or toy. And when Sonic Underground does come out on DVD here in Canada, I'm gonna be one of the first there to get it!
