Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Audience Reviews

Micitype Pretty Good
Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Herbert Nininger Do NOT watch Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or buy it's merchandise, the show has become totally inappropriate and is nothing but bad examples. It promotes brotherly hate, racism, violence, revenge, and very abusive relationships, it defiles everything that was special about it's first two seasons and so is totally unenjoyable. Splinters lessons are overly violent and hypocritical, they made Leo the hothead instead of Raph and he doesn't ever apologize for his excessive yelling, Mikey nearly killed Donnie 3 times and never gets scolded, and there's nothing positive nor any lessons learned to compensate.
annakotoz I use to love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but it's no longer child appropriate. Raph obsessively makes out with Mona 3 time in one episode and she doesn't let him say "I love you" like it doesn't matter, Mikey nearly killed Donnie but never gets in trouble for anything like their are no consequences, Leo is always yelling at Donnie to forget April but when Donnie tells him that he may need to forget Karai then Leo freaks out, Donnie is loyal and sweet to April but she treats him like trash just cause he's a mutant and then runs off to Casey whom pushes her and pinches her butt, and no lessons are ever learned. It promotes hate, revenge, racism, and very bad relationships and so I think it's best that people find alternative shows to watch.
willz187 Initially avoided this series due to the chunky animation, but it's not that bad. Was extremely entertained with the first two seasons and then something horrible happened: Seth Green.Back to the positives first: voice acting, writing, and giving us a world we don't get anywhere else, one, with horrible, disgusting, mutated and hilarious creatures. Seriously, some of these guys are cringe-worthy, but well done if you like this stuff. Not for the phobic of bugs and deformed stuff.I hate Seth Green - as he takes over the voice of Leonardo, the most earnest and noble of the turtles, in S03. When I hear Seth Green's voice, who has ruined many good animated works (Clone Wars), all I can think of is his A-hole persona's from TV and movies, and his A- hole dialogue in Family Guy and Robot Chicken. Unworthy of Leonardo. Esteemed Voice Director Andrea Romano keeps his jerk intonations in check just enough for me to be able to enjoy Season 3 episodes. So I'm still into it. However, I wonder if the show hasn't already hit it's peak and is on it's way down. 2 seasons seems to be the magic number for animated series's
Mr-Fusion It might be because the original '87 series no longer holds that spark for me, but the 2012 Nickelodeon TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES series is surprisingly a lot of fun. They've managed to create something completely new while mixing in elements from the original '80s series plus the Henson movie. The voices work terrifically here (Sean Astin and Greg Cipes, in particular) and there are some pretty great guest shots, too. It's a shame every show on TV these days has to be CGI, but it works for this show, the Turtles' character designs, especially. The action scenes are high-energy (with some killer fighting moves), the theme song's good and I like the show's sense of humor. Highly watchable stuff. Also, pizza gyoza!8/10
