The Red Road Audience Reviews

Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Molli Grunden Frey (materialgirl-45905) New to Netflix and MY GOD I just found this series on Netflix! Watched both seasons in 2 days and find there's no more episodes? PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN'T TRUE! Love watching Jason. Story line is good. Actors are perfect. PLEASE SEND US MORE. Will there be more and when? What a cliff hanger in season 2! Seriously need more of The Red Road.
wildwoodrose I was really looking forward to this "thriller" series. Especially with cast like Julianne Nicholson! The storyline started off as intriguing but fell very flat very quickly! The biggest issue I had with this garbage is that very few of the cast members were First Nations. You can't simply pile on loads of turquoise on an African American woman and try to pass her off as native! There are many, many great First Nations actors in this world. Casting really screwed this one as well as costume design! Give me a break! Now speaking of design....production design was brutal as well. Where did all of the money go? How many times do I have to see a huge city in the background when it was supposed to be a small community? I will not waste anymore of my time on this crap.
Adam Baehr Wow so I just finished watching the first season today and it was Superb. I mean the setting and the story plot were spot on and the cast was Awesome. I will say it's only 6 episodes long but that is good and bad because it will leave you wanting more but good in the sense that every episode is ramped up to ten in the suspense department. I loved the two main characters played by Martin Henderson who plays Harold Jensen the cop and family man and also his so called rival played by the Badass Jason Momoa who portrays Philip Kopus. I will say the entire cast did an Amazing job but the two main characters I mentioned definitely make it shine. I would tell anyone who loves drama/suspense shows to give this is a GO and just binge-watch this series. The second season actually is supposed to air the first week of April so in a couple of days so now is the perfect time to watch it.
samdwye At some points during the show it seems that there can be pointless scenes and the pacing can be slow, however, the foreshadowing of several different characters and the room for future plot lines could be immense.Character development is spread in between the range of characters and gives us a chance to see and start to like the characters in the show, either good or bad. The different characters have deep personalities and are slowly revealed in different ways which creates a really grainy patch of the morals and decision making of these characters between either their families or moral beliefs. The Red Road leaves room for future development but barely shows what it is capable of with just the first season. this isn't the type of show that instantly sticks, this show will develop and become more and more intriguing as time passes.
