An absolute waste of money
RipDelight
This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

This is another fascinating series from Tony Robinson--the guy who used to play Baldrik in the "Blackadder" TV shows. Over the years, Robinson (much like Terry Jones and Michael Palin from "Monty Python") reinvented himself--hosting nice historical documentaries which are a lot of fun. Unlike many of his other documentaries, however, these are less historical and more just Robinson exploring various towns--not just in Australia but also in New Zealand. In each case, he gives some history of the town, walks the streets and meets interesting people and also does a bit about excavations (which is what he often focuses in on in his other series). The bottom line is that Robinson's nice, easy-going personality and the interesting information make this all very watchable--for adults and kids alike. Well worth your time.
