Doom-Nomitron attacks Earth, but Rick Sanchez's defense satellite quickly defeats it by decapitating its head. Realizing Rick was unaware of his victory, Supernova plots with Alan Rails to claim the win as their own.

Following their pretend victory over Doom-Nomitron, The Vindicators debate whether to go out on-stage to receive their heroes welcome. In a state of cognitive dissonance, they decide to accept their honor bestowed upon them.
