Whitney Audience Reviews

WasAnnon Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Mjeteconer Just perfect...
pritishjain2009 Some ratings does not truly reflect about the show. This show is not that bad. Initial few episodes are slow but it progresses quite well at the middle of season 1. Season 2 is much more promising than season 1. They ended it well on a high note. However there are some episodes where actors overreact but overall show is worth watching. It does not have deep sarcastic comedy like Arrested Development but writing is still good. It could have run for few more years. too bad they had too finish it probably rating might be the issue still you can give it a try if you want to see a light comedy show without deep thinking involved. I will give it 8 out of 10.
cesar99 I truly TRULY hate Whitney Cummings for making this show, its just lame ass joke after lame ass joke and pathetic actors who needs too be put down on sight, I thought these kinds of shows were a thing of the 90's, please lets not revive them again, leave em in the 90's okay!?!.The only laughter this show gets is the fake kind, but don't worry they have plenty of that themselves. I would if I could give it less than one star!!!!!and Whitney, jump of a cliff PLEASE!My advice read a book instead of using one second on this shitty SHITTY show, you will be better of!
John Ackerman I read that this show wasn't getting canceled because Whitney is a friend of Chelsea Lately. This really disappointed me, as I love Chelsea Lately, she is hilarious. If that is true, I cannot believe she stuck her neck out for this show. I personally have never seen Whitney Cummings stand up comedy so I cannot comment on how this show compares to that, but I will tell you that this show is disappointing all around. The characters display the most classic narcissistic behaviors which are always unattractive but this is especially so in these characters because they are in their late thirties and forties and still haven't figured out how to stop being annoying, whiny, a-holes. I don't know who this show was written for, because people in their teens or twenties or even thirties surely don't aspire to be these people. They are more a cautionary tale if anything, but their situations are overdone and predictable. It makes me sad to think about people wasting their lives watching this crap so much so that I felt like it was a kind act to write this review to prevent anyone else from suffering through this show. Another thing is I cannot stand Whitney's voice, as soon as I hear it on a commercial or the show comes on I turn the mute on immediately. Its also really annoying because its in the middle of a good night of line up, luckily using the remote or buttons on the TV require minimal effort to click to another channel while I wait for actually good show (30 Rock, New Girl, Apartment 23, Parks & Rec) to come back on. The star I gave for the show goes to the man Chris Elia? not sure if that is his name, but he gets a star for suffering through this terrible chick flick psycho drama of the ironic girl who turned out to be not ironic...nor that funny. This last point is pretty harsh but it has to be said, a lot of shows on television are terrible, but at least there is some eye candy (think Kim K) so people will watch it, there is absolutely no eye candy on this show so you can't even mute the show and enjoy. Please do your good deed and warn people about this show and let's hope NBC can try to pull something better out of its ass, there are so many better comedians about whom to try to base a show....
Fatume I wanted to watch this show ever since it came on the air, but hesitated when I saw the low rating.I finally caught up with all the episodes two days ago. I watched 22 episodes back to back because I just could not get enough. The whole time I was watching it I was thinking "why the low rating?" so I couldn't wait to log in and write this review. The show is named after the real life stand-up comic Whitney Cummings so one would think that she'd carry the whole show on her weight and deliver all the funny lines, but it's actually not. This show is hilarious. It is so funny as in I actually laughed. The chemistry is amazing between the lead characters and I love their friends too.Don't trust the low rating. Go watch it right NOW.
