Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Kamen Kunchev On a continent not so far away, in a society by propaganda... A show uncovering the face of a nation that a lot of people dare not speak about. The truth is sometimes funny but at the end of the day we have to accept who we are to make the change. Thank you Sacha for keeping it real (and funny)! Buyakasha!
bedgoodamanda I can only surmise that either (a) they paid people to write rave reviews or )b) society is far more doomed than I anticipated. There was no humor or truth, just more mockery. The only thing funny is how this made it to air. Oh wait. We are speaking of the bought and paid for media. We have seen the demise of aforementioned media and it's counterparts for some time. It's quite sad how far they will sink and even more sad is how completely duped many Americans are.
rramjet-96920 Sometimes (like with Roy Moore), he doesn't really get what (I think) he wants, which is generally for his subjects to reveal their "true" biases. But when it works, it is devastating in showing how many Americans have fallen victim to absurd conspiracy theories (in case of the Right), or left-wing dogma. It can be very funny, although as one critic has pointed out, it can also be very frightening, as some of his subjects are politicians who can actually make policy based on their deplorable beliefs.
mf2812 I see there's a lot of the word "cruel" and "liberals" being dished out by the haters on here. It's odd because for one thing, the reviews for Borat (who was basically doing the same but as a clumsy guy from Kazakhstan) were never dubbed cruel or liberal. Perhaps it's because he's attacking YOUR ways of living now that you don't like it? Does it hurt being mocked? Yeah? Well you should be used to it as you voted in a guy who mocks disabled people. This is hilarious by SBC and he's only able to do this due to the fact the people he's interviewing are stupid enough to go along with it. Even bright Americans will find this funny. Keep up the good work, Sasha. They deserve all that's no doubt coming to them after this.
