Cassious is a hopelessly romantic college student seeking to find love and companionship with his best friend Jenesis. Jenesis is an emotionally scarred college girl who has outspokenly lost her faith in true love. Cassious is careful to not to spill his true feelings knowing her feelings regarding love and their friendship. Jenesis expresses her stern opinions of love in one of her college courses and winds up with a special assignment. Jenesis is challenged by her professor to document the opinions of at least 10 of her peers on the question "What is love?". Once she has documented her peers she is then to document her opinion after listening to her peers to see if her idea has changed. As Jenesis has done her whole life, she depends on Cassious to help her complete her learning and love. Cassious gets ribbed by his friends for following Jenesis around constantly and being her errand boy as she jumps from guy to guy and dismissed Cassious' obvious feelings... Written by Mason Younge

Anatomy of Love Audience Reviews

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Iseerphia All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
KATO-SUBZERO 28 November 2017: I was bored while in my room on vacation, so I got on my laptop computer and I found this flick while on the i-net. Glad I did, I wonder why I have not seen or heard of young talented lead actress Rachelle Neal. Greg Galloway wrote a good script that a lot of men who want a certain woman that he has known for a long time in their lives to be more than buddies. The man from college age and up jumps through hoops for a certain woman hoping that she will realize that he loves her and wants to put a ring on her finger, but she just kicks him to the curb with the lame excuse of "I think of you like my brother. I don't want to ruin our friendship" crap. I can personally relate to this story in the mid 90's when I too wanted a woman to be my romantic lover, but she kept me in her friend zone. This film is great from start to finish especially when it gets past the opening party scene. Lead actress, Rachelle Neal is very talented and does a great job in the lead role. I think Rachelle need to come out to California and try her luck and talent in California. I am sure that she will do well. I thought that I would be disappointed with the ending when after she confessed in class that she love Cassius and outside. But the ending turned out great. Great job by Greg Galloway. Also thanks for the eye candy provided by actress Lexi Walter (Tiffany Gomez) and Arabic or Iranian cutie Nadia Zebib (Samara). The supporting cast also did a good job in their roles, but again the award goes to Rachelle Neal. This film should have had a better distributor. Two thumbs up and a 9.
brionozim "The Anatomy of Love" is a realistic story about love, desire and friendship. In this day and age the lines between true love, lust and friendship are so blurred. "The Anatomy of Love" does a great job touching upon all of these issues and makes you care about Jenesis and Cassious' friendship/ relationship. It beckons you to ask yourself several questions, what love is for you and what kind of person you desire to fall in love with or continue loving for the rest of your life? Does a best friend make a great love interest or is it a trap for the hopeless romantic Cassious. Are the consequences of falling in love with your best friend, Jenesis, worth it or is Cassious just a glutton for punishment? Also, at what point should you listen or stop listening to your boys regarding your love life. Finally, how big a part does one's image of love from their childhood effect's one's view of love later on in life? A great date movie, that addresses all of these issues.
rappingtoya2002 I have always loved romantic comedies, but we all know sometimes they can be very predictable, you can tell from the first fifteen minutes how the movie is going to end, you can almost say it word for word. This movie really shocked me it was funny, suspenseful and fresh. This movie demanded my attention with a very talented young cast that really kept my attention with lots of laughs and suspense. I ended up rewinding several times, to some of the funniest scenes that I missed from laughing so hard. I have shown this movie to my friends and we all agree this movie gets back to the roots of a funny urban romantic comedy. I recommend this movie to anyone who looking for a great movie night.
gerard_grimes I usually don't go for the Romantic / ooh I love you type movies. But I must say, this movie by far exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I watch the movie multiple times, I purchased it to add to my collection. And my friends will tell you, if I buy it I must really like it. there were not the regular slow spots that are in most movies today. It was well thought out and put together VERY well. I would recommend this movie to just about anyone and everyone. If you like to laugh and get real value from your movies, then seriously consider this one. This is one of those movies that if you do not pay attention to it, you will miss out on a great one. Make sure you check this out, you will NOT be sorry.
