Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Glimmerubro It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
lynette_has_issues I am kind of amazed by how completely non-factual this movie is. It's like claiming your movie is "loosely based" on The Wizard of Oz because there's a scarecrow in it. I mean, after a certain point you just have to admit you made the whole thing up, right? For those of you interested in the BTK case, go elsewhere. This film follows the story of a man named Dennis Rader, who hides his career as a serial killer from those closest to him, but it is wrong in almost every detail--from the number of murders to the victims to the methodology to how he was eventually captured. Most insultingly, it also implies that his wife and daughters knew (or at least strongly suspected) that Dennis was a killer and said nothing until the police confronted them. I hope the real Rader family sued for libel. The film does not even stand on its own as entertainment. It's a poorly made, poorly scripted abomination, through which a handful of fairly decent actors are forced to slough. It is boring, implausible, and ridiculous. I might have forgiven it for being a bad movie if it was accurate, and I might have forgiven it for its lack of accuracy if it was entertaining, but it failed on all counts.
stevengerrard247 No words can describe my utter hatred for this appalling rendition of the BTK killer. Rating this film one out of ten compliments this truly disastrous excuse for a film. From start to finish, there was not one single highlight. The entire thing was horrendously put together; the script, acting, plot, lighting, direction, ACTING, factual information, ACTING, just to name a few. A number of scenes are literally laugh-out-loud-funny, for the atrocious way in which the entire thing is put together. This review may seem like an unjust and scathing attack on a low-budget film, but this is not the case. Just thinking about the movie I have just seen makes my blood start to boil. How this film was ever granted rights for production i will NEVER know. I am almost tempted to actually recommend BTK, because it is truly a stand-out in regards to how pathetic, and disturbingly awful it is. I can honestly say, in all my years of film-going, this is the WORST. MOVIE. EVER. I wasted over an hour of my life on this useless garbage, and would gladly have jumped off the nearest building beforehand, had I known what I was in for. ZERO out of TEN.
manu2025 What a pile of ****. It is without a doubt the worst movie ever made that is on a DVD. Seriously, why is it at Blockbuster? There literally are NO POSITIVES about this movie. The only slightly positive thing I can say is that it ends. Some scenes are dragged on for what seem like years. How many ways can you hint to someone that you're about to kill them? It's seriously ridiculous. I was watching this with my cousins, and at one point, we actually just broke out in complete laughter for a good 10 minutes at how horrible this film is.The acting is TERRIBLE. The picture quality is TERRIBLE. The story line is NONEXISTENT. The visuals can be produced by a teenager on a computer. Oh and by the way, you'll find yourself laughing instead of being scared. At times, I really just turned my face away because it was that hard to watch. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this movie.I for one would rather stare at a wall for 82 minutes than watch this movie again.
mndypndy All of you are wrong. This has got to be the most incredible, high-budget portrayal of the B.T.K serial killer I've ever laid my eyes on. The main actor, who played the killer himself, was extremely handsome and he did an excellent job of playing the role of this unique man. I recommended this to every single one of my friends, and they all loved it. In fact, we all got together and had a B.T.K themed birthday party. We played pin the rat on the mouth, and watched the movie in our giant outdoor movie screen and invited the entire neighborhood. If you haven't seen this yet, I highly suggest renting it. Let me just tell you you have NOT lived yet, and it's worth every penny. If you really want to learn more about my experience with this movie, visit my page: www.myspace.com/inluvwitbtk:D
