To the unsuspecting eye Maki, Reimi and Yuka may not look like ace crime fighters, which might explain why they're stuck on traffic patrol instead of more "exciting" police duties. All that changes when Yuka gets herself kidnapped by a white slave organization run by a politically connected businessman who's got the rest of the police cowed. Now it's up to Maki and Reimi to don skin-tight battle armor, liberate a tank, and make sure that a certain slaver learns that when you play with fire, you're going to get your ass burned!

Burn Up Audience Reviews

Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
al_phillips2000 Average anime film with some sexy female police characters. I like chase scenes, so the beginning was the best part for me. I also like tough Rambo-like women characters. Woohoo ! This has typical great action scenes with average dull-normal scenes and an under-used romantic angle.
Kai-18 It was OK. Fun action shoot 'em up and all but the plot is kinda thin and the action doesn't help it along as it should. Some good scenes but the main problem is the characters personalities aren't really built up. Also what's with the Quasi-futuristic clothes and weapons. They didn't seem necessary. It would have been about the exact same movie without them. Fun time killer but that's all.
