Finder's Fee Audience Reviews

CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
seans_life I talk about with my ex-fiancée how I enjoyed and used to go see movies and know there would be some good ones in the mix of what I saw at the theaters but for one and a half years it has been horrid but luckily while sitting at home late at night I caught much of the latter half of this movie. It is definitely worth a rental for someone and what is even better is that if there is some sort of special edition with Jeff Proebst talking about the movie he made well that would definitely be interesting. I wish the guy would show some guts and dump the money maker that is Survivor ,which is now only interesting if you are on the show, and make another movie. I think that attempt shows he has the talent to make something else. It was a real nice surprise to see that kind of ending and also a nice surprise to be shocked at who wrote and directed the movie.
ardentayu Despite the fact that this movie takes place in one location, it does not drag or get boring - that in and of itself is a HUGE accomplishment! I thought the story was great how it put the main character into a sticky situation. All the characters had distinct personalities, which kept their conversations entertaining. The psychological suspense was strong. It's a movie wrought with tension. I applaud an indie filmmaker (Jeff Probst) for pulling off a good movie on a budget that is tiny compared to the studio budgets. If you liked it, watch the director's commentary. Jeff Probst is very open about the process and how this film came into fruition (before he got his Survivor gig, by the way).If you are looking for an indie film with some humor, psychological suspense, and good acting, check out this film.
mtpearlnf I thought this movie was fun and interesting, the story is simple, but the modern setting and the idea of the lottery ticket made it attention getting. For a movie with no great effects and sounds, i could not walk away while it was on....i did not want to miss the ending twist. Yes, the movie is predictable to the point that you new there would be a grab you ending, but I like expecting that and you never know who is at the door. The characters all had their own querkyness about them that draws you, as we can all relate to one of them. I give this movie two thumbs up and suggest everyone sit down and enjoy a simple yet interesting movie.
kahnman just about everything in this movie works out. for instance... -the granddaughter's birthday probably wasn't an actual birthday...Avery saw the ticket and knew that it was 'his' and read the numbers off in date form. he was an extremely effective liar and just came up with that story spontaneously. -the blue box in the bathroom from the deck of cards were from when tep tried to cheat not from the deck of red cards. anyone who actually paid attention would know that - the one detail that was a little bit off was the real avery showing up without buzzing in first, but not all buildings require a person to buzz first to get entry, its possible that his girlfriend just decided to talk to tep first because they had been having fights. -the fake avery may have known about the parking tickets because he was probably close to the real avery either through work or family or even community ties. That is a mood point anyway though, because the fact is that he knew avery and gave in to the influence of money. Money will lead people to betray the closest of friends, which is probably what happened in this case.:if anyone has any additions or questionable instances that i left out, please feel free to comment:
