katie_ryn7 Alright, so, I'm going to start out by saying that I enjoyed this film. By no means would I call it a favorite, but it's just one of those movies that you cannot stop watching. This movie doesn't hold a candle to the original, but it's good nevertheless. It's twisted and funny and you'll definitely never remember Hansel and Gretel the same way, again. My only real complaint is that the music totally ruined a lot of the dark themes. Some of the movie was predictable, but there were enough twists that kept it interesting. Natasha Lyonne lets her bad-a**, sassy girl side shine. The movie guarantees some chuckles. If you liked the first movie, I'd recommend that you check this one out.

kami-c I saw this movie for the first time about 10 years ago. This is an Indie film of the vigilante/exploitation variety. If you have seen the first Freeway film (which is a re-imagining of, "Little Red Riding Hood") than you won't be disappointed by this film's re-imagining of the children's fairy tale, "Hansel and Gretel". I don't want to give too many details about this film in the review because I strongly suggest that you view it yourself first. If you cannot purchase the DVD, I have seen scenes from the movie on youtube.com (however the quality is not as good). This movie is unforgettable and has plenty of shocking scenes (including one disturbing sequence involving actor, Vincent Gallo that is either laugh out loud hilarious or completely disgusting depending on your taste). There also several references to Bulimia,Lesbianism,Necrophilia, Cannibalism, and prostitution. So if you find any of these things disturbing than this film is not for you. On the other hand, if you enjoy movies that push the envelope, than you are in for a treat. Enjoy!

s8ist My very twisted friend Leanne introduced me to this bizarre, disturbing, and often comedic film. A previous reviewer claimed that there is nothing to get about this movie and that it is just bad. I would agree with the first part. Anyone looking for depth has already lost the point. You're watching a movie called "Confessions of a Trick Baby." Try to watch the movie within the context, setting, and audience for which it was meant- your run-of-the-mill cynical joint-smoking nihilists, chugging six-packs and smoking joints at drive-in theaters. (Okay, so I guess there are only a handful of us.) It also helps to have a penchant for exploitative tales featuring lesbian criminals involved in murder, necrophilia, and witch-burning. -Freeway 2 is a colorful descent into a world where hope turns into a bloodthirsty nun with a penis.-Not a perfect movie, but just my style. They could have left the girly rock music out, but that is tolerable considering the meat and potatoes are there. Leave your pretense at the door and you may enjoy this one.

saragrace17 So this movie was not very normal... who cares I really liked it. In a sick and twisted way it gives a cool notion of girl power and overcoming all of the screwed up aspects of your childhood. I think that is also says something very interesting about how times have changed...I mean if this is the modern day Hansel and Gretel then think about our world. There is a lot of shock value and dark humor but Natasha Lyonne is waaaayyy cool in this part as white girl. See it if only to note how time and materials for literature have changed.
