He Who Dares Audience Reviews

Whitech It is not only a funny movie, but it allows a great amount of joy for anyone who watches it.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Leofwine_draca HE WHO DARES is the British knock-off of THE RAID, if you can believe it. It follows the fortunes of a master criminal who kidnaps a young woman and takes refuge in an underground car park (!) along with no less than 28 of his crew, all of whom are present merely as cannon fodder for the SAS team who've been sent in to rescue the hostages and kill the bad guys. That's all the plotting you're going to get, but even so HE WHO DARES seems long-winded and very shallow. The script is of an amateurish level and the characters are one-dimensional, but that wouldn't matter too much if the action was of a quality standard. The problem is that isn't. The fight scenes are boringly choreographed and everything just seems like a slow, unskilled version of THE RAID. It's never the least bit exciting. It doesn't help that the chief villain is played by Simon Phillips (JACK SAID), giving another execrable performance that belongs in a pantomime. I notice this guy seems to produce a lot of the films he's in, so as he's got money to his name that must be the only reason he keeps getting cast. The acting is poor across the board here, but he's by far the worst. I wonder if he'll ever give a performance I like?
Maj Hussain This film is by far the worst film i have ever wasted my time watching, After the first few minutes i quickly realised it was Produced by the Awful Disgraced 'Simon Philips' whom also casted himself as the lead Actor although to call him an Actor is an insult to the real Actors out there and that meant it had to be directed (if that's what you want to call it, Although it had no direction) by the incredibly untalented and lame 'Paul Tanter'. I promised after the last film i watched made by these guys that i would never watch another one of there films again, But really this was an accident as i downloaded the film based on the cover and the saying is spot on, Don't judge a book by its cover, In this case the cover looked amazing and the film was total trash, Who the hell gives these guys money to make films, I would rather see this money put to better use, say to hire a hit man to eliminate these horrible humans from society and stop them from churning out such bad movies tainting the UK film industry, The director should be named Paul Tainter or Poor Tainter. I think that the Action in this film could have been quite amazing but it became clear that the team choreographing and performing the Action were not only bound to a really bad script and direction from a stupidly bad director but probably also bound to not being allowed to do there job correctly as well as not actually getting paid. The cinematography is Diabolical, The Acting is Awful, I've told you what i think about the Directing, Best thing about the film is not allot really, If i can say anything good about this film its the fact there are a few hot ladies that pop up in it and i would like to say a few Brit Actors i have seen on the screen before but i would imagine they are trying to try and forget the fact they ever allowed themselves to act in such a terrible movie in fact lets not even call it a movie as it doesn't come close.
dariahsmethurst When i watch a film, whether its at the cinema or at home on a disc. I want to be entertained. Some films do it, some films don't. He Who Dares DID. It has its funny comedic moments, It has its action scenes and it has its basic but definitely interesting plot. Every film doesn't need to try and win an Oscar, but every film should try and entertain the viewer. He Who Dares does it!!! Bring on a sequel. I hear they are working on one. Cant wait to see it. With a great cast including Lorraine Stanley, Ben Loyd Holmes, Simon Phillips and a kick ass action start in Zara Phythian. This is a pretty good UK action film, something we haven't seen in a while.
Jordan Linesworth Zara Phythian is the responsible for all the stars this review awards the film. She is more physically capable than the men supposedly playing S.A.S, and has more of a screen presence than all of the villains in the film combined. I hope she goes on to do far more, in work that is far more deserving. As for the rest... where do I start? This film was clearly made by a team where the quality was second to anything else. Script, story, logic, even effort, seems so lacking. Much like their "white collar hooligan" films, the sequel was in the works before this one even came out. So that sure isn't by public demand. Looking at the other reviews on here, the public has spoken. If the sequel picks up the slack left by it's predecessor it may surprise us all, but the track record of work does not suggest that will be the case.
