Info

During the first half of 2002, Kylie Minogue toured Europe and Australia. This DVD captures it. Live In Manchester is a good concert that explores Kylie's musical catalog rather well from her days as a manufactured pop tart princess to her current status as icon and electro-pop diva. The concert occurs in seven different acts meant to display Kylie in some of the different manifestaions she has adopted throughout her career. Cultural references are everywhere in this concert. There's a nod to Keith Haring, and many others from Staney Kubrick, burlesque, and sci-fi flicks. It's all hard to catch, but done very well.

Kylie Minogue: KylieFever2002 - Live in Manchester Audience Reviews

Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Onlinewsma Absolutely Brilliant!
Forumrxes Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
avjr27 Hey There, I'm a big fan of Kylie Minogue and must say that this tour is nothing less than perfect.Kylie really puts on a show here, showing off her body, music, dances, costumes.this is a show I will never forget. It is what I think concerts today should take some tips from this concert.I know if that were the case and there were good concerts these days that I would feel my money went to some good use.I bought this concert for myself and got a few more for gifts for friends & family.the album Fever is one of my favorite albums so when I heard that this tour was "the Fever tour" then it was a must that I needed to see it.cause this tour did not come the the USA.It toured everywhere else, but no USA.so if I were you I would go to buy this DVD,cause there is those days ahead of us when there is nothing on T.V. and you watched everything you have millions of times.or there is a rainy or snowy day and you are by yourself and need something exciting.put this DVD in and you'll feel better.Anthony JRSouth Philly
srljb I actually went to see this concert and the DVD is fantastic. It certainly brings it back to life. It's a spectacular show, with amazing effects, choreography and superb vocals from Miss Minogue.Choreographer Rafaela Bonachela ( Ballet Rambert), does a fantastic job of combining contemporary dance movement within a very hi-tech stage show and the effect it creates is brilliant. The opening sequence still sends shivers down my spine. This has got to be one of the best entrances on stage that I have witnessed. Truly awesome.Kylie does not disappoint. Her vocals are very, very strong indeed and she is the perfect link in this fantastically produced 100% Live show. Look out for a fantastic ballad medley section including the song The Crying Game! Goosebumps every time.It baffles me somewhat that Minogue is a pop sensation in almost every part of the world apart from the USA. On visiting a lame Britney Spears show, she mimed 95% of the show and it was very boring. Kylie could wipe the floor with Britney any day in my opinion. For those of you in doubt, just watch this sensational concert.Kylie Minogue IS the Queen of Pop!!!!!
-Cinemaster- Kylie Minogue really out does herself in this stadium spectacular. From the opening moments where she rises through the stage floor clad in metallic body armour through to the many costume and choreography changes, Kylie delights throughout. She addresses tunes, old and new, in this concert and never misses an opportunity to mock her much-maligned public persona. This show is mostly notable for the multitude of special lighting effects that both enhance and define Kylie's performances throughout the show. If you've never given yourself the chance to enjoy Miss Minogue's talent than this is certainly the place to start. Rent the DVD and love it! Come into her world...
