In "Ciao, Italia! Live from Italy" Madonna visits the land of her noble heritage for this high-energy concert video filmed in 1987. It contained footage from a previous TV special of the Who's That Girl World Tour, Madonna in Concerto, broadcast in Europe in 1987, filmed at the Stadio Comunale in Turin, Italy. The video release also contained footage from shows recorded in Florence, Italy and Tokyo, Japan. The tour supported her 1986 third studio album True Blue, as well as the 1987 soundtrack Who's That Girl.

SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
mellowmode10 This was a great show but there are problems with where the footage was taken from. It's odd when you have the title Ciao Italia and then find out later on the internet that the opening footage was taken from Tokyo, Japan. The skyline at the beginning is Tokyo and the stadium is a baseball stadium in Tokyo. So what happened to Torino? Torino is a beautiful city and it was in 2006 that they had the Winter Olympic Games at the stadium where Madonna performed this show. So what happened to the original footage for this show remains a mystery. It would of been great if the opening footage had been the skyline of Torino, Italy and not from Tokyo, Japan.
Rose_St Even though people have had comments on her vocal skills during this tour, it's obvious that the girl can perform. I don't see anybody doing the dancing and singing thing better than Madonna. She really puts on a show and watching it never gets boring. I'd rather have something to see on stage than somebody on a chair singing for 1,5 hours. Great show.
