Purple Triangles Audience Reviews

Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
toniandbunny This film is one of the best films that I have seen that deal with the matter of politics vs religion. These men and women were willing to die in order to please their Creator. It is no wonder that Hitler and his brood are not here any more. It is people like these who fight and win, not because of any earthly entity but due to a heavenly one. I do not believe there is another group of people like these Witnesses of Jehovah who were not afraid to speak out and still fulfill their ministry and not want to cut the throats of their oppressors. I don't know of any religious group who could have that much self control. Jehovah's Witnesses are not always liked because they ring your bells early in the morning or always want to speak about God and the bible, but these people not only did this under insurmountable odds but lived to tell the tale. Bravo! In conclusion, I will say this film should be watched by every man, woman and child on this planet. This story must be told and retold if necessary for those who lived through it and for generations to come.
Don Frankly the first time I watched it I was amazed at the courage and "determination to be faithful" that permeated these people. The strength of character it must have taken to stay faithful knowing they had a way out, many of whom being killed in the attempts made by the SS to compromise their integrity. It is very humbling to watch and see the amount of faith these people had. It also inspires me to try harder in my studies of the Bible so that I can one day demonstrate that amount of faith they had in case I ever come under similar persecution. An excellent history lesson for those who had no idea that Jews were not the only ones persecuted in the Nazi Concentration Camps.
Tesha Excellent documentary showing that it wasn't just the Jews persecuted during the Holocaust, Jehovah's Witnesses were also victims. I haven't seen this film in a while but it's interesting to note that more Jehovah's Witnesses came out of the concentration camps than went in. They had all kinds of underground printing operations and even some of the songs that we sing presently at the Kingdom Hall were composed in the concentration camps. It's usually taught in school that just the Jews were the only victims which is incorrect. There were many religions and even nationalities that were persecuted. Jews were of course Hitler's main target but he wanted to eliminate others as well. I would recommend this film to those learning about the holocaust or curious about it. It is very informative and interesting.
