Romancing The Bride Audience Reviews

SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
whpratt1 Had no idea how I was going to like this film, but as soon as I starting watching a bride losing her memory and winding up in bed with another guy, I was glued to the TV. Matt Cederio, (Carlos), gave an outstanding performance as one of Jennifer Drohan,(Claire) lovers and handcuffed to him after a so called one night stand. There is plenty of drama and comedy and Carrie Fisher, (Edwina) gave a great supporting role with all kinds of sexy language to go along with her lines. This is truly a very entertaining film and had me laughing through out the entire film. Matt Cederio certainly is a very handsome guy and if the gals like a real HUNK this is the GUY.
confusedgrl Carrie had me laughing throughout the whole movie! (I originally watched this because she was in it, now I'd watch it again for the movie itself.) I love romantic comedies and Carrie Fisher, so the two together it's like WHOA!! The plot was really good...Melisa married a total stranger the day before her wedding and she has to get the whole thing like annulled, and she has this control freak mother, Edwina (who is played by Carrie Fisher) who is like in freak mode the entire movie. In the end she chooses to leave Bryan (her fiancé) and go with Carlos. I loved the part where Edwina says:"Nothingis impossible. It's just possible with I M in front of it. You see I-M possible." I often use that when people say things are impossible!!
villalobos_j I recently watched Romancing the Bride and was completely disappointed by the fact that Matt Cedeno is not Mexican or even of Mexican descent. I am confused as to why they would hire a Cuban to badly play the so called "Latin Adonis." He should have at least attempted to speak with a Mexican-Spanish accent. Did the casting director seriously believe they could get away with this?? That was a very bad job on their part. I am sure there are many talented Mexican-American men who could have played the part of Carlos. Many viewers may not be able to distinguish the difference between a Hispanic male from Cuba or from Mexico. However, when a website makes claims regarding the Oxygen Network and it's viewers based on demographics such as, "Oxygen puts a fresh spin on television from a woman's point of view with smart, fun, daring and above all, entertaining programming." Well, if this claim is true, then why is there such a large fault resulting from obvious defective judgment?
jmendolera323 Just saw "Romancing the Bride" and was wondering what resort in Acupulco the wedding scene was filmed at. I have gone to Mexico a few times. I recognized some of the different locations in Acupulco. The wedding scene was filmed at a resort. It looked beautiful. It overlooked the ocean. I was wondering where this resort may have been. Also if this resort is open to the public or if it was a time share. There appeared to be a pool with a pedestal where the wedding vows were being said. I looked everywhere in the credits to see if the resort was identified. Does anyone know this resort? Also, in the movie, the town San Marcos was a place where Carlos lived. Does this town really exist near Acupulco? It looked nice. Maybe a place i would visit if I return to Mexico.
