While Elena and aspiring rapper Jason fall into a turbulent relationship, Gabe, an earnest young man frustrated with his position in life, begins slinging drugs. Just as Elena’s relationship with Jason crashes as burns, she meets Gabe and the two strike up a platonic friendship.
