Micke is a total film nerd, who would be rather sitting home watching violent action movies than to be outside drinking and hanging out with friends. One night Micke has prepared to have an orgy of violent movies, but something rather strange interrupts his plans. While watching "Die Hard", one of the German terrorists from the film comes out of the television, and this launches a night of violence filled with known characters.

Sex, Lies and Video Violence Audience Reviews

Lumsdal Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
chevachrille Just saw this movie a couple of hours ago, and damn! It's one of the funniest movies I've seen. It has it all, really twisted characters. Uggla as an psychiatrist is just hilarious. The violent and gory scenes are all well done and it's non stop action from start to end. This film is hard to find though. So if you might find it don't hesitate to watch it, you will be sorry if you don't. Imagine a film with Aliens, German terrorists, ninja turtles, robocop and some other carachters you will recognize from different movies and you have sex, lögner och videovåld. All in all a really entertaining movie and one of the best to come from Sweden. Enjoy
zokkerkonny This was an enjoyable movie with lots of violence, and quite good effects for being an low-budget independent production. There is a lot of cameos too - mostly Swedish celebrities who were well-known in the eighties, and Brandon Lee of course (he has two short lines if i recall it correctly.)In English, the title of the movie would translate as "Sex, Lies, and Video Violence", which of course is inspired by the title of Soderberghs "Sex, Lies, and Videotape". At the time the movie was made, and before, there was a lot of debate in Sweden about "Video violence", that is, all the violence that could be seen on VHS videos, and how that would affect the youth, what measures should be taken to stop this,...
von Krolock Definetly one of my favorites when it comes to splatter-filled humour, Richard Holm & co show that you don´t need a lot of money to create something wonderfully funny and violent. Spoofing a lot of films along the way, Mikael Beckman has to fight off the Clockwork Orange-gang, Frigga from "Thriller", the Alien-monster, a German terrorist from "Die Hard" and Robocop(superbly played by football expert Tony Johansson). And yes, it IS the genuine Brandon Lee in his last starring appearence.A very hard film to come by, but if you get the chance, don´t miss it!
Trappatony Take one part "Die Hard", one part "A Clockwork Orange" and one part "Alien" - shazaam, there you have "Sex, Lies & Videoviolence". Probably the coolest actionflick from Scandinavia ever, and definitively the best swedish film since "The Man on the Roof" 1976!Johan Holm and Mike Beck reflects insanity at its peek, and Tony Johansson as RoboCop makes Peter Weller looks like a Teletubbie. Don't miss it!
