Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam Audience Reviews

ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
linoytk When we think of Rajasenan movies, first thing that comes to our mind is a string of successful comedy movies with Jayaram in lead. Movies such as Meleparambil Aanveedu,Ayalathe Adheham,C.I.D Unnikirishnan couldn't be classified as a sort of classic films ever for the depth of their stories but would always be remembered for its light hearted, natural fun and clean comedies mostly related with the common people we see next door in our life on a daily basis without the sort of double meaning jokes or mimicry currently disguised as comedy movies. But its not the case with Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam. To be frank the basic plot for the movie was a good one but didn't had necessary ingredients to be successful commercial movie. The story is basically of two brothers Vishnu(Suresh Gopi) a professor, soft spoken, academic, loving brother and caring son for his parents (Janardhanan and SreeVidhya) and having all sorts of virtues which can be associated with a good man and Aniyankuttan(Kunchako Boban) a fun loving college student and enjoying his life. But Aniyankuttan somehow believes that there always has been a partiality shown towards him by his parents while sharing love. He isn't preferred over his brother for inaugurating the new showrooms opened by the family and even partiality while sharing sweets in another occasion by giving in a much smaller glass than his brother. All this might seem to be curious for audience for having grudge over his own brother but somehow makes part of the story. The movie isn't devoid of usual heroines, though faulty scripting doesn't give them enough prominence in movie. Srividhya(Prabhavathi)a college student studying in the same college as of Aniyankuttan is having a crush on Vishnu for a long time and tries every way to get his love and even gets closed as a sister with Anniyankuttan to get close to her love Vishnu. Kalyani(Nandana),Anniyankuttans another college mate who has crush on Anniyankuttan, but somehow ignored by Anniyankuttan. The turning point in the movie comes when Anniyankuttan, who believes that Srividhya is in love with him finds out that she has been loving Vishnu and even assumes that Vishnu has, as usual taken away his happiness. He even assumes that he is an adopted child and that's why he has been ignored and devoid of all happiness. His revenge towards Vishnu and the Vishnu efforts to get back his brother forms the rest of the movie proceedings and climax. The movie in no way can be called an entertainer and could be termed as boring to a certain extent due to its faulty scripting.Talented actor like Jagathi was totally wasted with his character and his comical situations in the movie where short of bringing laugh to the audience. Janardhanan and Sreevidhya tried to give their best with the space given to them in the movie. The songs by Ouseppachan though not of his usual repute, were on an average. The pick of the lot would be Kingini Poove...I wouldn't recommend this movie for even one time watching, rather recommend the old movies of the same director such as Meleparambil Aanveedu,Ayalathe Adheham,Vardhakya puranam,Sreekrishnapurathe nakshatrathilakam.Diliwalarajakumaran.... if you wish to spend almost 2 hrs for a standard clean comedy movie
dblaine316 If you want to see just one of those average malayalam movies, then this one is for you. No stunts, no action just plain old drama.Vishnu (Suresh Gopi) and Aniyankuttan (Kunjacko Boban) are the sons of Janardhanan and Sreevidya. But Aniyankuttan is an unhappy kid, because he only gets things that have been used either by his father or by his brother or both. And his brother is just a super brilliant lecturer who has stood first in all classes and has bagged some trophies for credits. So everyone gives priority to Vishnu. So Aniyankuttan feels that something is wrong somewhere and an inferiority complex. And there is Ammu, played by new screen girl who is madly in love with Vishnu. And to get to Vishnu she makes Aniyankuttan her friend. But Aniyankuttan wrongly takes the friendship to be 'another' relationship. And soon discovers that his brother is going to wed Ammu. Problems again. And then finally he discovers 'the truth'. So he becomes terribly sad and unhappy becoming willing even to kill his own brother..........Lame movie. Stupid songs. And definitely NO COMEDY . But Jagathy is there just for the name . And Suresh Gopi, well it was a wise decision to stop acting, because with movies like this oh man he is a goner. Stupid acting from the "star of IPS's". But Kunchacko Boban does his character well, though. The budding star really deserves a clap of appreciation. He correctly displays his character, handling emotions well and portraying the outburst of mixed emotions on discovering the 'truth'. And, well the first time actress is a thumbs down. No real acting. And Janardhanan and Sreevidya does well. Jagathy is there just for the name, as I said before.I wouldnt recommend this movie. Oh no, it would be better to spend the 2 hrs time on some other useful purposes. My Verdict : Average LoserMy Rating : 5/10
