The Fallen Audience Reviews

Cortechba Overrated
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
tooaks This movies is worth watching. I seen the so-call outstanding movie Saving Private Ryan; this movie is far, far better! This movie gives a excellent view, to me, of what it REALLY was like in the Italian campaign both with the Americans, Germans, partisans & especially the Italian soldiers. This movie and All Quiet On the Western Front are my best war movies. It is far better then Saving Private Ryan because the story line for Private Ryan is stupid, who would (being in their right mind) send a squad of soldiers into a combat zone to retrieve another soldier. There could of been other ways (communication wise) to contact the field unit to retrieve the soldier without risking lives to do it. Yes, Saving Private Ryan is an overrated film. I'll end this review on the movie The Fallen by saying again, see the movie!
filippo previtali I've rent the movie because i'm very fond on war movies and on the cover picture i've read " better than save private ryan"....mmmmm ...i thought cool! guys....is just a ridiculous movie. Almost fun. Nothing to do with a proper war movie. I want my money back! Why the f...k the peoples lies??????????? F NO SUBTITLES They tried to make everything cooler with the light....but they didn't make it. Sorry about this.....but the movie is awful. The italians are shown as "Mafia e mandolino"The American as stupid farmer The Germans as even more stupid farmer. The actor are ridiculous and unprofessional.Please....please......
Claudio Carvalho In the autumn of 1944, in Northern Italy, the German soldiers resist to the advancement of American forces in an Italy divided in fascist soldiers, communist partisans supported by the civilians and thugs. An American platoon leaded by Sergeant Malone (John McVay) is assigned to deliver supplies to the front. Meanwhile, the German Lieutenant Gunther (Thomas Pohn) tries to keep the morale and discipline of his needy soldiers, and faces many other problems when the Italian troop leaded by the aristocratic Lieutenant Gianini (Fabio Sartor) joins his doomed troop. The thugs leaded by Rossini (Carmine Raspaolo) act like vultures, plundering the remains after the battles."The Fallen" is a different war movie that gives the big picture of the chaotic situation of Italy during the last days of the World War II, showing a country divided in civil war, with an unusual code of ethics between the Italian soldiers and the partisans. It is nice to have a humanistic view of the war through the three sides – Italians, Germans and Americans- at the same time. The lack of discipline of the Italian soldiers breaks the tension and gives humor to this dramatic story. My vote is six.Title (Brazil): "Guerra Sangrenta" ("Bloody War")
nickread I was totally and completely enthralled by this film. It was an actor's dream. I am actor and therefore,my dream was met. Wonderful performances, great directing, writing, and the cinematography was excellent. The film depicts WWII in a way that no other film has. It is minimalstic and totally on point. The film deserves cudos for what it did on a small budget and low budget film making restrictions. Ruben Pla stood out but he is with a comfortable load of great co- stars, so that is saying a lot. A must see!!!
