The Parasite Doctor Suzune: Evolution Audience Reviews

Manthast Absolutely amazing
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
Peereddi I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
Abegail Noëlle While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
kosmasp It probably will make more sense reading the Manga of this. Of course many will and can argue that books (even books with pictures) are always in an advantage when it comes to things like this. But there is so much wrong here. Most of which I already stated over at the first part of this "series": Acting, directing and so forth. One of the things that sort of worked in the first one, was that a couple of jokes actually were acceptable. This has almost no redeeming factor in it. Unless you count nudity, that's a different story. Though this is not a porn movie, if you are after something like that. The lingering on faces, the weak script and everything in here make this a really boring experience, something you normally are not used to, when watching Animes ... There was potential here, but I guess a Parasite corrupted the whole thing ...
Bob Balthazar Bullitt I blame the editing. And the direction. And the acting. And the script.Oh, the script! Perhaps they started without one and hoped using enough (non)dramatic silences would enhance the depth of emotion the viewer would undoubtedly be experiencing. The film does generate some viewer empathy, but only the characters whose eyeballs pop out.If you like flashbacks then this has plenty of them. Each of them perfectly placed to add nothing at all to what I guess the director hoped was a story.Would have given 2 stars, but only if they hadn't made the film.
