The Week Of Audience Reviews

More Review
Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Verity Robins Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Ashleigh Miller I thought this film was really repetitive all the way through which was rather annoying and made me a little bored. It did make me laugh however and I thought that the ending was rather cute. Not the best of Adam Sandler's movies but a film which I would watch again
Destroyer Wod I know Adam Sandler is not the most popular comedian, at least if you take a look at the scores and reviews of his movies. Yet personally i always enjoy them, even when i am unsure i will due to a trailer that is not so convincing, i still end up having fun. Now sure to be in the mood to watch an Adam Sandler movie, i need beer, and as Jeremy Jahns would say, its a better time if your drunk. But i don't see it as a negative personally. Yes this movie is very similar to other Sandler movies to a degree, there is the same toilet humour and slapstick but i don't know, i laugh so bad in part to stuff that i know is not original or super funny in itself. For instance there is a character that just keep laughing everytime he speak, and i know its stupid and on paper its not that funny, but i kept laughing with him anyway because the situation make it funny ! When i tune in for an Adam Sandler movie i just want to turn my brain off and have a good time and thats what happen. I would say tought that this movie does have a little bit of a deeper side to it as other reviewers said. Remeniscent a bit of Mr Deeds or Big Daddy in a way. Its not just toilet humour and slapstick even tough there is a fair share of it.Anyway i would definately recommand to watch it, but follow my advice, grab some beer before, be with friends, put yourself in the mood for it.
JOSE MANUEL LADRON DE GUEVARA G. Its sad Netflix fall into the game of this, no script, no acting, no comedy, no quality, there's nothing even sometimes seems like a home movie whit a lame camera, , honestly if Netflix is going to produce/buy/ and sell us content like this movie we can say goodbye to Netflix, not always a famous actor means quality content, don't waste your time watching week of, one of the worst movies ever produce.
Rahyar Taghipoor The Week Of was a surprise consider how the reviews buried this movie. Adam Sandler has always been the face of mindless comedy for the sake of stupid laughter to me which is ok. But when he reigns in all that cringe comedy to mix it with heartfelt story like "Click" or "50 first date" or "Just go with it" that is when I really enjoy his works, of course this movie has some of his touches (like a really baffling cameo of Sandler as his own grandmother in the film which to me was very much unnecessary) but in its entirety this movie was a lot of fun to watch. I was laughing through out the movie and that is some thing that happens rarely with most of the Hollywood comedies for me (technically this is not a hollywood film so maybe that is the reason?), the comedy was in many parts was genuine generated by the wacky situation he was in and in some parts was the over the top Sandler stuff and yet it was funny because the balance was there, I was invested throughout the film in what will happen to this family and at the end I enjoyed the way they finished the film. It was not supposed to be a big philosophical revelation, it was supposed to be a weird but very much plausible real life situation. Yet another movie that has proved to me that most reviews are never anything but bandwagon praise or hate.
