Two Step Audience Reviews

Pluskylang Great Film overall
Dorathen Better Late Then Never
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Red_Identity I didn't know much about this before seeing it, and perhaps that's why it surprised me in some of its plot developments. In retrospective, it all makes sense from the start in terms of what it is aiming for, but I guess for some reason I didn't see it. The performances here are quite good, and the two main male actors do a fine job of really driving a line between them in terns of their portrayals, as well as thematically making the whole thing work. The best performer here is probably Beth Broderick though, who honestly looks like she hasn't aged one bit in about twenty years. She looks fantastic compared to her time in Sabrina. She brings such a natural presence here to her character and brings a lot of weight to the proceedings.
lovylara This movie almost ruined the entire film festival for me as it was the first one I saw of the festival and made me lose all hope.I think film schools should use this movie to show people why it's important to go to film school (cause the director clearly didn't)It's just a poor mans Coen brother film. I hated the cast. They couldn't act at all. The pace was awful. The tough guy eating menacingly scene with the eggs... so cringe worthy. "Goddamnit boy can't I enjoy these eggs for a minute" I believe the line was and then a full minute of the bad guy eating his eggs while the other bad guy cowardly watches. I could go on but I really don't want to think about this abomination any more. Just don't see it. And I hope the director won't make any more movies. Maybe he should just go back to working as a grip or something. Gosh!
Paul Garcia Two Step's narrative, actors, sound, and cinematography all deliver exceedingly well, in this fantastic thriller, drama, action, low budgeted film. These factors get better and better as the movie progresses. The characters remain memorable, the gun shots remain memorable, and the suspenseful guitar theme remains memorable. Most action thrillers are predictable, but the way Two Step's plot progressives leaves the suspense hanging throughout the entire film.I would have given the film a 9 if not for the dialogue and acting that lacked in parts of the beginning. However, this did not decrease the quality of the exposition, as it was told very creatively, focusing mainly on visuals and actions from both James, the protagonist, and Webb, the antagonist. The movie is violent, suspenseful, and very mature, not appropriate for ages below 11 or 12.
mystichealer2 When things go bad, they can get really bad. After a young man loses his grandmother, he inherits her house and is harassed by a conman who has been manipulating her for her money. The actors do a great job with their performance. The protagonist is a young man who gets into a situation where he can't defend himself. The antagonist begins as a petty thief and becomes much worse. It is easy to see their character arcs and the plot in this story. This is a suspenseful story with good realistic drama.I have a friend who had a small part in this film so I went to see it because of her. What surprised me was the suspense and the way the characters built tension between them.
