Go behind the stage with the gothic/metal band Type O Negative. See hilarious tounge-in-cheek humor from all 4 members (also has footage of Sal Abruscato). Also see a huge toilet paper fight with the crowd as Pantera plays on stage. You thought these guys were dark and mysterious? Think again.

Type O Negative: After Dark Audience Reviews

Protraph Lack of good storyline.
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
CaligulaAzrael A collection of Type O Negative videos ("Black no. 1", "Christian woman" x 2, "My girlfriend's girlfriend", "Love you to death" & "Cinnamon girl") with additional backstage footage and some excerpts from interviews. Also, there are some clips from the live performances. If yo're a TON fan, you simply have to see this. We've got normal Type O sense of humour and quotes from... Coal Chamber fans, who dislike the best doom metal band of all the time (what a jerks!). What's more, we've got Peter Steele (R.I.P.) telling us about his "philosophy of life" (P.S.:I'm really happy_ Interveiwer: Why?_ P.S.:Because I know someday I will die...). And the extended version of "Christian woman" - just perfect. Watch out for the "Jesus Christ looks like me" moment. It makes me laugh any time I see this.
ttheis1 After Dark is a behind the scenes look at Type O Negative. It shows footage of their hobbies and what they do when they're on the road. I love the part where the guys throw food at the members of Pantera as they're playing their show and throughout the video as they zoom in on Josh's inability to do his business. It's a good video, uniquely put together. There was also some touching moments as we see Kenny playing with his daughter. He seems like he's a good father. We also see a performance of the band doing Black No. 1 with just a simple bass violin and a guitar and Sal playing drums and goofing off. The music videos are excellent. They're not as clichéd as videos we normally see. They stand out more. Also, we get to see Johnny show us his hobby of muscle cars. Peter stands out the most in the video as he describes his perspective on life and his dark sense of humor. Any Type O Negative fan should own this video. It's unique, unlike any other music documentary film and the extra video for "Everything Dies" is worth the price.
Male Supremacy And you thought the band were a bunch of vampires! These guys have more of a sense of humor (albeit dark), (collectively and individually) than anybody. The VHS came out in '98 and I had to own it since getting backstage passes are harder to get than a Greatful Dead ticket. When the DVD came out in '01, they added in the DVD commentary with the band and Slitzy, their friend and light tech. They also added the music video 'Everything Dies' which Kenny directed. The video has them all candidly speaking of song meanings, showing they're asses, watching how Peter has to move around in a tour bus (since he pushes 6'7"), messing up soundchecks, and plenty more. It also has hilarious scenes of fans (and many non-fans) telling you what they think of the band. An instant classic.
