What's Happening! The Beatles in the USA Audience Reviews

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
juwilliams This documentary offers one of the only non-scripted glimpses of the young Beatles during one of their first visits to America. Filmed with the goal of capturing the Beatles "as they were" in the midst of media and fan mayhem, the Maysles brothers remind us that these Fab Four started out small, carefree and almost too-human.I had the rare opportunity to see this film during a lecture by Albert Maysles. Since the film was made just before the release of "Hard Days Night," that portrayal of the fictional Beatles sadly overwhelmed the distribution of this documentary. If your local library, film school or video store has a copy of this, grab it with haste.
