Info

The 1992 WWE Survivor Series was the sixth annual Survivor Series. It took place on November 25, 1992 at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. Unlike previous Survivor Series events, Survivor Series 1992 placed a strong emphasis on one-on-one wrestling matches rather than tag team elimination matches. In the main event, Bret Hart defends his WWF Championship in a match against Shawn Michaels. The event also featured a highly-promoted match between the team of Randy Savage and Mr. Perfect and the team of Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. Two specialty matches also took place, with The Big Boss Man vs. Nailz in a nightstick on a pole match, and The Undertaker vs. Kamala in a Casket Match. Some of the matches were changed after they were first announced, as several wrestlers left the WWF shortly before the event.

WWE Survivor Series 1992 Audience Reviews

Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
amanwhorocks 1. Owen Hart/Koko B.Ware Vs. Headshrinkers - Average match 6/10 2. Big Stiff Man Vs. Nailz - Terrible match, however. 4/10 3. Rick Martel Vs. Tatanka (Lol inc.) - 1 uninteresting match. 5/10 4. Ric Flair/Razor Ramon Vs. Randy Savage/Mr. Perfect - Great booked match, but stupid ending. 6/10 5. Yokozuna Vs. Virgil -Yokozuna's PPV debut 6/10 6. The Beverly Brothers/I.R.S./Ted Dibiase Vs. Natural Disasters/Nasty Boys 5.5/10 7. Kamala Vs. The Undertaker - Kamala is one ridiculous and very bad wrestler. Match suffers by his wrestling skills...8. WWF Championship: Shawn Michaels (IC Champ) Vs. Champ-Bret Hart - Finally some watchable Main Event Instead Hulk Vs Rest of the World or Macho or at worst Piper or Warrior. This was solid match. 7/10 SANTA? Oh no....

Big Movie Fan Firstly, let me say that the 1992 Survivor Series broke with tradition. Survivor Series made it's debut in 1987 and up until 1991 it was an event which featured teams of four (or five) against each other. The 1992 Survivor Series had one match of that description but the rest were regular tag and singles matches which was a bit disappointing. After all, I think most fans enjoyed seeing teams of four against each other. Anyway, that's ancient history now because the following year the Survivor Series reverted to it's four VS four formula but I thought I'd mention that above. The whole card was pretty unspectacular. Don't get me wrong-the wrestlers all tried but at the end of the card I felt unfulfilled. The only great match on this card was the main event between WWF Champion Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. For over twenty minutes the two greatest wrestlers of 1992 put on a great show for the fans. This match was brilliant but one match doesn't make a good event.
pmayerle Survivor Series '92 was a bit of a disappointment. The only match that really stood out was the main event. High Energy vs. the Headshrinkers was lame and so was the " Night Stick on a Pole" match between Nailz and the Big Bossman. This was Yokozuna's first ppv and he squashed Virgil. This also had the first ever casket match. The casket match was too short seeing the Undertaker won by pinfall and then put Kamala in the casket (watch as the Undertaker drives the nails into the casket; he either drives them in crooked or misses them completely). There was much hype for the Perfect Team (Randy Savage & Mr. Perfect) vs. Ric Flair & Razor Ramon. During the match, it looks as though Perfect turns on Savage but you can tell that he really won't. The match was boring. The best match, by far, was Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart. It was a great match. * Note that both men would meet 5 years later during a very controversial match at Survivor Series '97.
