Breaking Homicide Audience Reviews

Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Pluskylang Great Film overall
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
haplessemu I enjoyed the show and look forward to the new episodes. It's a nice change of pace from the typical ID show which are heavy on reactments of gruesome crimes. This show is from the perspective of cold case detective and takes you along on interviews with forensic experts who analyze the autopsy, crime scene, suspect behavior. They also include interviews with people close to the victim and some of whom are potential suspects. The cases are interesting and usually complex. Each case ends with the Kris and Derrick's analysis of the evidence gathered and their theory of what happened. These are usually cases that remain open so don't expect the conclusion to include an arrest or conviction. I thought both Kris and Derrick were sincere and sensitive to the feelings of the victims families. My only criticism is many of the cases have involve 2-part episodes which I think could have been condensed into one.
follyfriday The haven't SOLVED a crime yet! Frustrating and DISAPPOINTING! Should be CANCELLED!!!!
farahandjo First, I want to make it clear that I love ID and all of their series. However, I am surprised that this terrible show is on ID. I agree with the others in regard to Derricks's fake crying: it is uncomfortable to watch and I feel like the victim's family is being exploited when he does this.I get an insincere and opportunistic vibe from both Derrick and Kris. I feel like the victims' families are given false hope, and it hurts me to have to see the families re-tell their stories just to get the same answers they had before.I will not be watching this show again. Sorry.
thegrinch-9 I usually like the Investigation Discovery shows, watching how the evidence falls into place to nab the killer. So I tuned into this 2-parter of "Who Killed Faith?" without knowing anything about the show. I was SO disappointed. The death of Faith Hedgepeth was already an open murder investigation by the Chapel Hill (NC) Police Department, and they have the forensic evidence. The "detectives" in this show (Derrick Levasseur, former police detective and Kris Mohandie, forensic psychologist) did NOT have access to some of the most pertinent evidence in this case, such as fingerprints and DNA. In addition, they could not even talk to all of their suspects. I still thought they might come up with the killer using old-fashioned investigative work (think Columbo), but to no avail. At the end of the show, they offered their 2 cents (a theory), but that was it. This is a sad excuse for a show and I expect better from Discovery ID.
