Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman, sometimes shortened as Fetch!, is a children's television series for children ages 6–12 on PBS during the PBS Kids Go! block of educational programming. It is a game show/reality show that is hosted by an animated anthropomorphic dog named Ruff Ruffman who dispenses challenges to the show's real-life contestants. The series ran for five seasons and 100 episodes from May 29, 2006 to November 4, 2010 on PBS, with 30 contestants in that time. In June 2010, WGBH announced that the series would end due to lack of funding. In June 2008, the series received its first Emmy for Best Original Song for its theme.

Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman Audience Reviews

Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
invisibleunicornninja I think that I was actually obsessed with this show when I was younger. I watched every episode, watched the show whenever I could, and made charts analyzing it. This show is hilarious and creative and interesting. I wouldn't say that the fourth wall is broken, but its definitely ignored. This show is fast paced with something new every episode, and the child actors are actually good. The concept is executed so well in such an entertaining manner that I can't believe its not more popular. This is awesome. This show is so entertaining and so well done I can't help but recommend it to pretty much everyone (in the target audience - some of this show would probably bore older teens or adults).
dpatel-71211 This show was a huge part of my childhood! I learned so much from this! It was funny, educational, well paced, and I liked how it was that everyone was having fun doing it! I got ahead because of what I learned. Plus, there was a lot to do on its site. Sadly, they discontinued it and now it's not available on the website anymore. But I still stream it from elsewhere! I would recommend looking at it too!
lucas_gross I loved this show as a kid. It's a genuine shame it was discontinued. I still look back to the seasons that I don't remember and still love the show. One of the best parts is that the contestants are actually really contestants. Usually, shows like this tend to have actors and the whole game show is fake. Fetch was different. They did send videos in to join Fetch, and when they did come, they were encouraged to improvise. Again, this show was amazing. I loved this show, and I still do.
guitarcrazzy135 Several times while watching this, I've noticed that the situations the kids are put in can be solved much more simply than the shows makes them. For instance, one group of kids had to get the remote which controlled a toy boat with a clue in it on across a pool from the kids. The remote was in a basket floating in the pool. So instead of just swimming to the remote and grabbing it, they had to spend somewhere between 30 minutes to a whole hour constructing a long pole which they used to slide under a section of the remote to pick it up. The makers of the show should have put the kids in situations in which the kids had to do a certain thing instead a much simpler and quicker way of acquiring the next clue. Also, usually one of the kids had to stay behind from one of the adventures the kids go on and instead watch his/her friends have fun. after a while the left behind kid does get to do a quiz based on the events which happened in the show to earn points, but its not nearly as much as the other kids earn. At the end of the show, whichever kid has the highest points can win a prize. So obviously the kid left behind has no chance of winning. In the end, this show was just a waste of time for me, as little as I watched it, though there may be some people who can enjoy this type of show.
