Framed Audience Reviews

Alicia I love this movie so much
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Calum Hutton It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
qui_j This Dutch produced, average not excellent thriller takes the viewer on an exciting journey, one filled with danger at every turn. The concept is not a new one i.e. an employee finds out too much and then is framed for something he never did. He then spends the rest of the series being hunted down by a shadowy network. The episodes, however, are really full of unbelievable events, and the choppy editing makes it difficult to connect the dots. For English speakers, the Dutch names are hard to remember so keeping track of "who's who" can be challenging. The acting is sometimes a bit overdone. Despite the negatives, it's good for mindless entertainment as long as you don't analyze it too deeply, and just go with the flow!
mister-ed-1 Very Good Series This is well worth watching and is continually exciting onward moving story. Its in Dutch but with subtitles its fine to watch. Give it a try - its currently on Walter Presents on Channel 4 online if you read this while its still there. I only gave it 9 as I probably reserve 10 for West Wing !! But Framed is well worth a watch ! Lots of scene changes. Its dramatic. There is some violence so if you are not into that don't watch it. If you are into technical things such as computers you will like this but don't worry if you are not as you will still keep up ! I hope they make some more of these series with the main characters as I like them.
Tweekums This Dutch thriller follows protagonist Michael Bellicher who finds his life falling apart after a woman is found dead in the offices of the company he works for. At first the authorities believe it was suicide but Bellicher is less convinced; she had asked to meet shortly before her death. As he investigates he ends up being accused of her murder, loses his job, his marriage falters, his back accounts are locked and he uncovers a scheme where those involve can adjust people's internet records to make them appear guilty of just about anything. He manages to extricate himself by the end of the first series but his problems aren't over.As the second season starts he finds himself accused of killing a young Polish girl in a hit-and-run accident in the town of Monster… he is perplexed as he hasn't been there and it involved a car he never owned. It turns out that somebody has stolen his ID and used it to by a car and property in Monster as well as clear out his bank account. As he struggles to clear his name and get to the bottom of what happened his life, and the lives of those close to him, are once again in danger.I rather enjoyed this series; it may be more than a little far-fetched at times but it moves along at a cracking pace so one doesn't dwell on these unlikelihoods while watching. Daan Schuurmans does a fine job as Bellicher making us believe in this ordinary character caught up in extraordinary events and is ably supported by the rest of the cast. The action is tense throughout and while the viewer will guess that Bellicher will ultimately survive unharmed we can't say the same about other major characters. There are some shocking moments, some of which may be disturbing; most notably the grainy CCTV image which shows the moment a young child was struck by a car. These comments are based on watching the series in Dutch with English subtitles.
