Haunting: Australia Audience Reviews

CommentsXp Best movie ever!
MusicChat It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
sgilbert-11 What is there to watch here? Self-videoed "experts" running away from their own shadows, self-proclaimed psychics pumping out the same bilge that any Halloween party medium could spout, 0% hard evidence of anything paranormal, over-dubbed sound effects where viewers wait for real audio to manifest itself, and a grand wrap-up at the end where everyone congratulates themselves on finding...nothing. I'm surprised that Robb Demarest is involved with this junk. He's already earned the respect of investigators and audiences from his previous years with quality productions. After a decade of Ghost Hunters the bar is set pretty high, and this claptrap deserves to be dead and buried with no chance of resurrection.
aretha-waria It's definitely refreshing to see something from Australia as there is a very rich history here. However, I thought it would be even more brilliant if there were something that included the Australian Indigenous history. There are many sites including the Myall Creek massacre in 1838 which involved 30 and 40 murders of Indigenous people. There's indigenous stories about many strange and fearsome creatures in the bush. Would be cool if they had a look out there and spent some time with Indigenous elders in communities - they will definitely find something out there. In all honesty, I did enjoy the show, however, I love having the mixture of science and physic In the Geelong Goal episode I would've loved to have seen the woman in the cell that would've made some interesting viewing.
bellab1972 I was so excited to see the Aussie version of this show being an Aussie, but I am so embarrassed with how pathetic it is!I watched the first 6 shows and although am known for watching stupid shows, couldn't bare watching one more episode! I don't understand why the producers chose a forklift driver from the Barossa, a Pommy guy who wouldn't have a clue and a woman who is petrified of her own shadow and runs out of rooms screaming for no reason! She thought she saw something in one episode and ran out of the premises screaming but in a subsequent show was supposedly touched by an entity and was fine with it!! It's so obvious the show is fake and saying "did you hear that" and " something touched me" doesn't prove a thing!! The people involved with the investigations are aggravating beyond belief but to top it off is the over voice guy who exaggerates everything and talks through the entire show! He has the most annoying accent and his comments are idiotic to say the least! This version of the show is unwatchable and whoever cast the investigators hasn't got a clue about casting "like able" personalities! I am so disappointed with this show!
ebbz66 i was very excited to finally see a paranormal show on my TV that was done in Australia! I missed the first episode unfortunately, so started with Geelong jail episode. I'm very excited to see Ian back on my TV screen after seeing him on most haunted for so long it's great having him back. i'm really impressed by the evidence that the team got, especially the photograph and the video, that was amazing! its also great to see that there are Aussie's on the the team and not just internationally recognisable people. I Can't wait to see the rest of the series. I hope that they dull down the background music and noises and it interferes a bit with the viewing as sometimes I wasn't sure if that was the real noise or just sound effects and music added later. The format resembles most haunted (an English show, but that's cool. A great start.
