The World's Most Extraordinary Homes Audience Reviews

Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
thebate6 Great idea, interesting locations and houses and amazing scenery...BUT yes the lady is annoying, she is too much really, why doesnt the director say something?? And also the irritating thing is actually the amount of money spent for these houses. In second episode that stupid forest house cost 150 million(??!) are you serious? This is just greedy. Seriously. Its just a house. So many lives could be saved with 150 million dollars! People are so greedy and selfish. I was annoyed.
Shawn I tried watching this and couldn't stomach the host. She is old, unattractive, annoying and constantly gushing about the unimportant aspects of the homes and hamming it up ina flirtatious way that just comes off as gross. I just couldn't stand it after one episode. Replace the unbearable host with someone more charming and knowledgeable and I'll give it another try.
jlrosenkrantz The hosts of this show are awesome! They made me giggle all the way through. I really appreciated all the graphics breaking down the floor and build. Wish there were more than 4 episodes.
vanessa-frank I really enjoyed the hosts - they had a great dynamic together, and their enthusiasm for the various houses was infectious. Caroline Quentin did a great job of making it entertaining and affable, and Piers Taylor is clearly very passionate about his craft. It genuinely felt like they had a blast filming the show. Indeed, Caroline Quentin was actually one of my favorite things about this show, so I very much hope that she returns for a second season. There are so many shows about architecture that are extremely bland - what makes this one so personable is the delightful host interaction. I loved the thematic nature of each episode. By having the homes grouped into thematic episodes it allows you to think about certain kinds of environments, and how they effect architectural choices.I had so much delight watching this show. I deeply hope that Season 2 is commissioned (and that the same hosts are brought back.)
