Delivery Man Audience Reviews

Dotsthavesp I wanted to but couldn't!
GazerRise Fantastic!
Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
russellcamp-63053 Okay. I'm new to this movie tonight, and I have to say- it's just great. If you're looking this movie up because you found it on a streaming site or somesuch, somehow, then watch it. I clicked on it because I like a small bit of familiarity in my seemingly random guesses. Mr Vaughan had been good to me in the past. Same for Chris Pratt. If you want a completely mindless comedy, there are other titles and actors that will suit your needs better. If you don't flinch at comedy with a teeny touch of drama, then this is close to the top of its game. Some reviews have bothered to comment on the fact that it's been remade by its director. Frankly, who cares? It really, honestly is a great movie. It's a great comedy about a lot of not necessarily funny things - among them honesty, responsibility and maturity, but largely about raising a family. If you can relate to any of these, then you'll almost certainly love this movie. If not, you'll probably still like it a lot, because it's a difficult job really well executed by director and cast. It's a great movie. Enjoy it!
FilmBuff1994 Delivery Man is a great movie with a well developed plot and a great comedic cast. In reading the plot summary and even watching a trailer you would perceive this as a typical Vince Vaughn comedy, but that really is not the case. It's set up is certainly humorous and there is plenty of hilarious moments, but it is actually a meaningful comedy drama as we follow Vaughn discovering he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation. He takes the opportunity to meet some of these kids and turn their lives around, it is heartfelt and we manage to gain a connection with various different characters, even if they are only there for two scenes. I do think that the 533 children set up was a little too much. I feel they should have given the character a much smaller number and have him gaining a connection with all of them, taking out the court side of the story and making it more personal. The performances are stellar, with the cast being well able for both comedic and dramatic scenes. Vaughn and Cobie Smulders are the highlight for me, their scenes together are very realistic, particularly towards the end of the movie. It manages to balance out comedy and drama surprisingly well for a set up like this, it is laugh out loud funny at times, as well as sincere other times. Funny and well acted, Delivery Man is worth the watch for anyone looking for a good comedy or drama. An underachiever discovers he has fathered 533 children. Best Performance: Vince Vaughn
AgentSauvage I was unsure whether I would like this film, but it surpassed all expectations. I laughed, I had tears in my eyes. The premise is interesting. David Wozniak is a failure, being threatened by the mob over the debt he owes them - and at a particularly low point in his life he finds he is the subject of a class action by 142 of the 533 children born from his frequent visits to a sperm-bank when he was in need of cash (the reason why he needed the money is explained later on in the film). David decides that he must find out about the children who are 'suing' him and decides to become their guardian angel. The characterisation is superb. The performances are excellent. The viewer will laugh and will cry - or is entirely heartless!
Annie Palone I am a true Vince Vaughn fan, so I have wanted to see this for a long time....and it was well worth the wait! I loved how he kinda stalked his kids to just basically spend some time with them, how he kinda parented from a far. He may be sort of a messed up person, but he has a really good heart. This is one of those feel good movies, that will make you laugh and cry...Vince never disappoints me, and I will watch this movie again and again. I loved every second of this movie and would like to see where this story goes....maybe they will do a Delivery Man 2? Idk...but either way...watch this movie, you will like it...especially if you like Vince Vaughn, he is friggin hilarious!!!
