Samiam3 B-movies I can understand, but why to people made stuff as low as Alien Invasion Arizona? Definitely Z-grade material, I doubt if the makers even went to film school, or the cast to acting school. Films like this are probably made just for fun. This is what you get when you round up a dozen friends, rent a truck of gear with finance from some 'ma and pa' operation, get a locations permit, and maybe a hundred dollars worth of props/costumes from the halloween store. That is pretty cheap, and unless you know what you are doing, the result is gonna be pretty darn cheap.A group of prisoners high jack the transport taking them to jail. They march their 'rookie cop' hostages to the nearest town, which is supposed to be a rendezvous. They find the place to be totally deserted, and next they find out why. a swarm of reptilian like aliens, have worked their way from under ground to the surface and have eaten every body. Now their next meal has walked into town.The creatures in this film are the most rubbery I think I've seen since Roger Corman's Carnosaur trilogy. They were clearly designed based on the one in Ridley Scott's masterpiece, but they are not even a hundredth of the way to being as intimidating as that one. There is no reason to see this film, which is why it has gotten no release. Long may it be that way.

bent-mathiesen If I was still 5 I might find it scary. It is (I guess) a low budget film. The acting is not good, but could be worse - the filming and special effect is awful. The story line is thin and not worth to dwell on. Too much time is used on boring shouting scenes. The chases or fight with aliens, remind me of kids fighting with scary masks on. Some gore with blood and body parts - would scare a 5 year old kid I guess. Apparently scare the crap out of some of the persons in the film.It is far from reaching anything like the film Tremors.This turns out to be an "incident" and we see alien ships nearby earth. It make you wonder if any will make a sequel...

jayforjill Right on Colmyster. I totally concur with all your sentiments and add these. I came to my PC especially to post a comment on this dreadful (minus)Bgrade movie. I was going to say that in this day and age I am at a loss to comprehend how anyone could possibly make such a woeful movie - but you beat me to it. Anyone reading this and Colmyster's comment, trust me ---- DON't waste you time and money. It's an absolute shocker. The acting is totally pathetic, the script is way worse, and the (so called) special effects are a joke. Surely no-one actually invested money to make this movie? I really cannot think of anything else to say about this so called horror sci-fi product, but must pad this commentary to make 10 lines of comment in order to have it accepted for submission.

g M oney You have to see this film. It is straight to DVD, but could have been a theatrical release. It is a great popcorn movie with all the elements you expect from a sci-fi- action- adventure- horror film. The scoop: Prisoners escape while being transported, and take a couple of cops and a prison doctor hostage. They make their way to the nearest small town, Salina, and everything is going perfect for the escapees. The action gets intense at this point, the escape plan unravels, and the prisoners finally come to terms with the fact that aliens are loose in Salina and are eating people one by one. The alien creatures are live action and are realistic in a SCI-FI channel monster movie kind of way. The dialogue is witty, sharp and realistic.
