Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Michael_Elliott Atlantis: Secret Star Mappers of a Lost World (2007) * (out of 4)Several experts on the legend of Atlantis are brought together to try and explain what might have happened to the city. This documentary takes a look at the subject as if it were true, which seems to upset some of the reviews I've read. I personally don't mind if a documentary is one-sided. This film certainly believes that Atlantis was real and they want to prove it. The documentary offers up some good interviews that are full of knowledge but I found everything here to be so boring that it was hard to hold my interest in what was being said. I think the documentary tried way too hard to "prove" what happened yet in the end we're left with no new information about the city. Even worse is that everything is told in such a confusing way that it's really a shame that more wasn't done to try and tell the story in a better way.
