Chaos Theory Audience Reviews

NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
LouHomey From my favorite movies..
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
mrhollywoodp This movie is sexist where they treat the men as stupid children:There's so many movies that make the woman authoritative and in control and the men just follow them like they are children. In most chick flicks if the guy cheats the woman kicks the guy out of the house, even though it's HIS house and he pays the bills (i.e.'Obsession' with Beyonce), and she either takes him for all he's got or she already has two guys trying to get with her who do everything for her while the cheater is so miserable without her. And in movies where the woman cheats on the guy, they show him to be pathetic and he eventually takes her back and forgives her because (like this movie says) "he should be happy that she loves him". So basically the message of most chick flicks is, if the woman cheats just forgive her because you're lucky to have her. But if you cheat on her it's OK if she takes everything from you (there's even movies where the guy who cheated just lets his ex-wive take everything because he feels so bad about cheating. Even more, there's many movies where the woman who cheated is the one who the audience roots for because the husband is either so pathetic and boring that we understand and accept what she did).At the beginning of this movie The wife thinks that the husband (ryan Reynolds character) had a baby with another woman so she kicks him out of the house (and he actually leaves, no man would leave especially since he pays the bills, etc, it's HIS house too). Then when she lets him see the daughter, her friend says "You're actually gonna let him see her?" (Reynold's character isn't a child and if he wants to see his daughter he doesn't need to ask for his wife's permission). Also, when Ryan's character finds out that his daughter isn't really his, that his wife cheated on him, they treat his character as if he can't live without his wife, and he takes her back because his friend says: "You're lucky to have her, she loves you", etc etc.I'm all for woman and men being treated as equals but with most movies (chick flicks mostly) from the 90s to present the men are treated as ridiculous, pathetic who have to do everything for women and not expect anything back. Whereas women can demand things and are almost always the ones who are right and the audience are expected to cheer for.The roles of women have changed for the better where they aren't second to the man but nowadays it's like it's been reversed. We need to change it where it's equal (something the feminists always say but of course they don't have a problem when the men are treated as such...hypocrites)
asli_hasdemirr Frank Allen lives in a world of his own.He lives his life in line with the lists which he makes every day.One new year's day, he goes out with Susan,Buddy and the other his friends for celebrating.Susan says that she wants to get married that day.Furthermore, she tells that she chooses from between her friends to get married.Everybody admires already her.She has in mind Frank who is only too glad and they gets married with together. One day, Frank is revealed to be an efficiency expert that is just beginning to get hired for public speaking events after the recent publication of a booklet on saving time. At this first lecture, an attendee attempts to seduce Frank, whose wife, Susan, calls at an inopportune moment to hear another woman in the background. Frank escapes the room, remaining mostly faithful to his wife, but ends up in a car accident with a pregnant woman, whom he escorts to a hospital. His name ends up on the kid's birth certificate by mistake, which ends with Frank fighting against hard evidence that he's leading a double life. The tide turns, however, when DNA testing reveals that not only is he not the father of the baby in question, he's not the father of his own child either. He's sterile. Now Susan's past becomes an issue.I don't wanna mention about its topic exactly that it is surprising for audiences. It is fixed great topic into great screenplay. It is a good film-making to be watched to family gathering.Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer perfectly put on an act.Frank's method at the film is created a life-style for some peoples living their lives to the fullest. It sometimes has emotional scene, sometimes has funny scenes. The movie also expresses the importance of the feeling of being forgiven successfully.I give eight out of ten to movie. If you have a good time and says that life is extenuated, you will watch it.
burakcetinler Chaos Theory is really impressive film. It is a serious, emotional and dramatic. Frank survive his life with his plans. His wife changes the time and everything begins with this. He misses the ferry with fifteen minutes and he had to have overnight journey. He avoid a accident and stopped. He had to carry the pregnant woman to hospital. Then everybody thought that he is father of the baby. Frank argued with his wife because of a telephone call from the hospital and after that he learned that he is infertile. After learning this situation this time he leaves his wife. While Frank thinks that he is living a excellent and planned life he finds himself in a disgusting game. He learn everything and how his wife and his best friend deceive him. After all He thinks that reason of events is living in programs and he decides to be a exactly different man. My favourite scene is writing notes for what is he going to do and choose randomly one then he never thinks what will be in the end. The film emphasize the felling of forgiving in success. If you see R.Reynolds in the film you can think of laughing but you must not do this because you won't like it. Think of seeing R.Reynolds in a different character and begin watching it, I am sure you'll like it. The film was fascinating and R.Reynolds is suited to film. His acting is unquestionably excellent. In the film, experiences of the father was really effective. I thought that everybody will be in this situation and I thought what they will do? I couldn't find an answer for this question but I think I can't forgive my best friend and my wife because everything is a lie and everything you do with is fake.In conclusion, this movie is really well worth seeing! I advise everybody. My vote is 9!
nagihan-tutar I have watched this movie in the lesson. The movie began with a wedding. Bride's father talked with groom. He told him that a story. And the film goes back in time when Frank and his wife Susan Emily Mortimer are married and have a seven year old girl called Jesse. Frank being such a time management freak Susan decides to set the clocks back behind ten minutes only finding out that she set it the wrong way and Frank is late. This action sets the chaos for Frank being late for the ferry; his time management lecture and making him spend the night at the city. As things couldn't seem worst Frank is forced to leave his hotel room being faithful to not cheat on his wife, Frank rescues a pregnant woman in labor. Susan finds out about the pregnant woman thinking its Franks she kicks him out for being unfaithful. While Frank finds evidence for Susan he also finds out that his entire marriage has been a lie and goes on an insane rampage of luck and random selection of cards he wrote himself on the action he should do at that very moment. Living by the moment. When he learned his wife cheated him decided to kill her but he didn't as he loved her. At the end of the movie love gains. At first I thought it was a comedy but as the film went on Chaos Theory turned into a drama and a very sad one There was some points in the movie were your laughing and you realize that the scene is actually really depressing. Chaos Theory has this pattern of being really funny to turning really sad and depressing to once again a great laugh. Although Chaos has its tears and laughs I did enjoy the movie and was pleased with the film.
